My family and I went to this church as we are new to the area and trying to find our church home. We don’t look like your typical family as my husband and I have a lot of tattoos. The first thing we noticed is we weren’t greeted by anyone …

After church-shopping for a full year, my wife and I were getting discouraged from not finding a place that felt right for us. After visiting River Oaks only once, we knew we were where the Lord wants us to be. The members are …

River Oaks is amazing! You walk through the front door and can tell the church body is filled with the joy of knowing God. The choices of Sunday School classes are solid! The kids are always excited to go to their Sunday School and youth group and the staff lovingly welcomes them. The worship team leads the congregation in songs that prepare your heart for the sermon. The elders welcome you while offering prayer and guidance if needed. The pastors preach through books of the Bible, verse by verse and in context, teaching how all of scripture points you to the gospel of Jesus Christ. On the way home, if you ask the kids what they learned, be ready to hear more about Jesus :) You go to Growth Group later in the week, and discover what Biblical community looks like as you discuss Sunday's sermon. Praise God for what He is doing through this church!

River Oaks is a church that focuses on the Gospel. The people of this church are real and wonderful. The worship is lead by a fantastic group of folks who seek to let the songs you sing parallel the message that is being preached. Metry keeps the young kids engaged in so many unique ways with a plethora of activities and a very committed team. Put simply, River Oaks is a special place where Christ is made known and the Spirit is felt. Chris preaches every sermon as though it was his last! You should check it out...

My wife and I have been so blessed to be here for the past 3 years. The teaching and community have had a measurable impact on our lives. I think the smart and thoughtful leadership of the folks tasked with running the church has been one of the biggest encouragements to us. River Oaks has been one of the landmark blessings of our lives.

River Oaks has been our church home for around seven years now. We have been so blessed to be surrounded by a community of believers and friends that believe the Bible is Gods true and inspired Word and that our faith in Christ alone is the only way to Heaven. The cross was enough. We love this place and these people and the God that brought us all together and sustains it all! -Seth and Megan

This church welcomed me with open arms during a very difficult transition in my life. They took me in and loved me even though I was an outcast and very difficult to love. Though I no longer attend the church, I will be forever grateful for their kindness and example of what it looks like to be a Christian. Their kindness and patience towards me is what it looks like to be a beacon on a hill.

Couldn't be more thankful to be in a loving, grace filled community where the scriptures are expounded and upheld to the glory of Christ, where we are encouraged and inspired to grow in our love for Jesus, and where humility and faithfulness are modeled its leaders.

If you want to reveal something sinful that’s been done to you by someone else, they'll Rake you over the coals. They skip their Matthew 18 process when wanting to cover up something. If you don’t mind deception, this is the church for you.
