Restoration isn’t like other churches where you might feel like you have to have it all together. Restoration is a group of broken people pointing each other to Jesus. In addition to the gospel centered messages there is also nursery, children’s church and student ministry groups that meet each Sunday.

My family and I had been looking for a church to call home. After visiting and watching online, we quickly knew restoration was our place. I’ve never been in such a non-judgmental church setting. The staff at restoration and the church body met me in the midst of brokenness and embraced me as I was… extremely imperfect. My family and I felt at home and welcomed by everyone at restoration. My kids actually look forward to going to church. The kid’s programs are fantastic. My daughter loves children’s church. My son actually asks to go to youth! The preaching is so real. Jared and Ben are truly gifted. If you’re in search of a church, I highly recommend restoration southside.

As a Chattanooga transplant, looking for a new church/community can be tough. Restoration SS opens their circle wide open for you to come in, worship, hear biblically based messages, and love others well. The staff goes out of their way to welcome each and every guest. They have a ton to offer with city groups, men & women bible studies, retreats, and tons of other simple family gathering/worship nights.

Restoration Southside has been so welcoming and gracious to me and my friends. I began attending about a year and a half ago, and since then, I have felt embraced and known. They cater so well to the needs of us as college students, reaching out, offering meals, and praying for us. Last week, Will Brian, a staff member, went out of his way (like way out of his way) to bring me a bag of candy and stuff to give me a boost in studying for exams. He and other staff members care so much about the lives of others. It’s been a blessing to be apart of.

As a member of Restoration Southside I cannot say enough about how this church welcomes people and loves them as Jesus would. They faithfully preach the Word and are a wonderful home for anyone looking for a Bible believing church to serve the city of Chattanooga. A safe place for the weary, and a home for the lonely.

We do not go to church here, but go to a church nearby. Our kids went to The VBS a few weeks ago and loved it. Everyone was so friendly and they teach sound biblical truth. I’ve listened to a couple sermons online as well and have enjoyed those. Happy to be neighboring churches with them.

I have been at this church for about 2.5 years now. I remember what it was like being new here, my wife and I didn’t know hardly anyone, but both the staff and members were very welcoming. They offer many opportunities to meet people in smaller groups and it’s refreshing that they don’t try to make it seem like it’s perfect, a very genuine place where the people love the Lord and know they need Him!

Had my wedding there after they took ownership from Stratton Hall,, the customer service that was delivered was not welcoming. Continuously had to reach out to receive help from PR. A woman named, VK, was able to help assist me in getting the information I needed, but failed to follow up with anything in regards to my wedding day. The church was not welcoming in regard to finding solutions to any problems or inconvenience on my wedding day. I would not recommend anyone to seek assistance from them due to their unwelcoming, unchristian like customer services towards the community or anyone who was a Stratton Hall customer.

Restoration is a place where you’ll be constantly reminded that the good news of the Gospel counteracts shame over and over! Going to a new church, or starting church for the first time can be really difficult, and I won’t promise that it will be easy, but if you want to be somewhere where you can feel known and loved, this is the place!
