  Please don’t bring your children here, at least that’s what they should have a sign saying. They really don’t want your children to sit in the sermon and they don’t offer a blanket statement or policy to find on the website. They cherry pick the attendees to ask them for nursery or not. I tried multiple ways to get into contact with the preacher who wasn’t reachable and hasn’t contacted me back. Matthew 18:3 and he said Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

  This church is my home away from home. I have grown to love this church after being in the same church for 26 years. I have been at renovation for almost 3 years now and I have learned to be a part of this amazing church community. It has helped me in more ways than not. It has brought me closer to God, closer to true friendship and community, and truly learning the way God intended us to live this wonderful life he has given us. I believe in this church and their vision and how Renovation church represents God in every way!! As a volunteer who serves in this church, as being part of the congregation, we welcome all who want to visit and possibly make this place their home. Pastor Kody is amazing!! One important thing he always says is that it is okay if this church isn’t for you… that as long as you are part of a church and get connected to that church and KNOW who God truly is that that is the most important part. That this church isn’t for everyone and that is OKAY!! Come hangout and join us one Sunday and see if you like it, can’t hurt right?! :)

  This church is amazing! My family and I have been going for a few months now, and we’ve felt at home from the start. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming when we walked in. The worship is great, and the messages are really powerful. Our kids love their kids’ ministry. They always tell us how much fun they had and what they learned in class.

  By far the most welcoming and friendly church I have ever experienced. The sermons are Bible based and the pastor doesn’t stray from The Word. He makes sometimes difficult subjects easy to understand and follow, and makes it applicable to life today. I am excited to attend church again!

  The first time we came to Renovation, we knew we were home and immediately started serving. Through this place we have found our closest friends and “family”. This church truly welcomes with open arms. Pastor Kody leads this with Biblical truth, and no matter where you are in your walk with God, this is a place where you can belong, even before you believe. I am so grateful to be able to call Renovation home, it has changed our lives forever!

  The moment we stepped into this church, we knew we had found our church home. We had tried several other churches in the area, but none of them felt quite right. Pastor Kody is so authentic—his messages are always meaningful and relatable. We never worry about our children while we’re in service because we know they are in such good hands.   The board that has all the groups on it was so confusing. They should use the same color for the same things, community could be orange Bible study could be blue, not different colors for the same thing. That way when you look at the board and you wanna look for community you look for that certain color and your eye picks it up with ease. Also, you should just put all the community together in one spot and Bible studies altogether in one spot instead of making it so confusing all over the place that you have to spend a lot of time there. People are more likely to not do something as soon as it becomes complicated. Then after you have done all of that, please put it in order by age groupings if applicable. Next take the signs out of the greeters hands. Put them on the wall if you want, but those hands are shaking hands. Not holding signs. Those arms are for hugging, not for holding up signs. If you say well, maybe they’re not extroverts so this allows them to do this with out being an extrovert. But to you, I would tell you you’re sticking somebody in a place that doesn’t align with their gifts. I did notice that there was a lot of issues with spacing and people would have anywhere from 2 to 3 chairs in between each others groups, I do want to say it probably won’t hurt anybody’s feelings if you make it announcement before worship to scoot over and leave just one chair in between . Just a suggestion. Lastly, we were told to bring the wood down from the mountain a lot, but weren’t given really clear instructions on what that meant for the Church today. I assume it means reading your Bible every day, spending at least 15 minutes with God every day. I get it but not everyone knows that. Felt like a lot of time was spent trying to convince people to give more during the yearly offering that churches do every year, for the new church that is being built and saying that if you give more you will closer to God but actually, building the church today is being able to easily articulate the gospel to non believers.
