  My wife and i are volunteers with the Sower organization and were working at Lighthouse CC for the month is June. We found Refuge church on google and decided to go visit. Well, we loved this church, the people, the music ministry and the pastor. It made us wish we lived closer to Smithville! Godly people!

  I am so grateful to God for finding this place on our path. This congregation is known for its genuine preaching of the Holy Scriptures. The worship is beautiful because after one song you sing another and another; it's sequential worship, and you truly feel the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It's a humble congregation with people who love God. If you want to learn about the Bible and live nearby, I highly recommend this place.
