I can't begin to explain what happened, but I will do my very best. I've been to many churches in my 63 years, but this one is special. As the pastor was delivering his sermon a flood of emotions rushed through my body and I felt a sense of peace and calm like I've never known. Tears rolled down my cheeks but it wasn't sadness or pain I felt it was an awakening of my body, heart and soul as one. I knew at that moment that I was home. This is just the beginning of a new life, free from chaos and confusion. A new life with new friends and a new family for my mother, father and only son have passed away from this world and I was lost for many years. About six months ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. I racked my brain trying to make sense of it all. My 63 years of life had no meaning or purpose. That is until now. I have a purpose and the Lord will guide me and show me. I will be an example of what is possible in a world of uncertainty.
