Moved down here to Maryville, TN in summer of 2012 to retire and be closer to our family. We got not only closer to our related family, but found a church family at Praise Lutheran that is beyond what we could have imagined. The common bond among this churches congregation is the Word that is being delivered to us by our pastor. Bible studies and services here feed us spiritually much more than we have experienced in previous congregations we have been members of. Yes, we might have some parental allegiance, as our pastor is our son, but our experience in this congregation goes far beyond. Praise to our Lord and Savior for guiding us here.

I love being a member of Praise Lutheran Church. We confess our faith in Jesus Christ , as the Head of the Church and the second person of Holy Trinity, in the Creads we use every Sunday. We are taught the Word from the Holy Bible and blessed by Sacriments. We have the most wonderful church family I have ever experienced. I am blessed to have this support and love.

I visited via their Sunday service webcast. I've not been to a Lutheran service before. While not for me, it looked much like a Catholic service.
