PVBC is a Bible preaching church focusing on spreading the good news and reaching the lost. There is a strong focus on missions and outreach. Programs are in place for men, women, youth and children to serve along side each other as we give glory to God. Come join us if you don't already have a church home and see how God is working here. ⅞

My husband grew up in this church and we started coming back 4 years ago. It was amazing then and still is (we originally left due to work scheduling conflicts). It felt like coming home. Everyone there was and still is so welcoming and loving. We have made lifelong friends and we are so thankful for each of them. We have a new family in this church and are so thankful to see what God is doing through His church. Our pastor and youth pastor both speak biblical truth and will go out of their way to help you with anything (as will most, if not all, of the members).

God is good all the time, and all the time God is GOOD! I am so excited about what God is doing at PVBC! He is not only delivering the Gospel through His written Word but He is also showing up through the gifts and donations given by generous people. Our children's ministries are simply thriving due to the heart of His people and their commitment to support local and worldwide missions. We support the local FUEL Program, Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan's Purse, and we host AWANA every Wednesday night at the FLC! God is moving in our Wednesday night study as our pastor breaks down the Word for all to understand and benefit. We have welcomed our new youth pastor and his precious family, and they are all so excited to get to know our youth and help them grow and transform in to mighty disciples of God. Guiding them and helping them understand the bare bones of the Gospel from beginning to end. Your house will only be as strong as your foundation, and we are building on the ROCK of the Gospel! I cannot say enough good things about the love shown between our brothers and sisters that gather here every Sunday morning and during the various outreach opportunities we have through the Brotherhood and Sister In Service Ministries. I hope and pray that if you do not have a home church, you would consider visiting us here and seeing just how God is moving!

I have been going to this church for 15 years now! The people here are amazing! 🤩 Just like all places and things, things happen, people get their feelings hurt, things don’t always work out the way you want them too, but the way God wants them too! But, the people here, are there for you, if you let them be! If you want to learn about Jesus, this is the place to be! I love this church family! It’s a very kind, friendly and loving church! Our preacher is amazing, and preaches straight from the Bible!! And has an awesome sense of humor! And big shoulders for you when needed! And his wife as well! Beautiful people! Godly, caring and friendly! Our secretary is amazing at keeping everyone posted about what’s going on and the coming and goings of the church! You can feel Jesus in this house of the Lord! I love this church family! ! ♥️✝️🤩

Pleasant View Baptist Church has been our family's church home for almost 10 years. From Day 1, we felt welcomed, encouraged, and loved! Our Pastor, Brother David Mackens, speaks Biblical truth and refuses to water down the Gospel. We have thriving Men's, Women's, Senior, Youth, and Children's ministries!

This has been my home church for 57 years. There have been times when have had to weather some storms but through the grace of God, we have continued to love our Lord and minister to our community. God is on the move here and we invite you to come and get in on what he is doing.

I attended this church for many years and I am still a member. I once felt I was once considered part of the “church family.” I served, showed up, loved people, and believed I was loved in return. But after stepping away for a short time, I learned the hard way how conditional that “family” really was. I’ve run into several members in public people who once hugged me, prayed with me, called me sister in Christ and they act as if they’ve never met me. No smile. No acknowledgment. No Christ-like love. To me, that speaks louder than any sermon. Church shouldn’t be about attendance, status, or appearances it should be about genuine love that extends beyond the building. If you’re going to call yourselves a family, then love people even when they leave, or question things. I’m not writing this out of bitterness but out of disappointment and honesty. Praying this doesn’t happen to someone else.

I was an active member of Pleasant View Baptist Church for years, and my husband even served as an active deacon. In the beginning, you will be swooned and made to feel like you’ve found a home church but once you’re in deeper, you start to see the truth behind the scenes. Serious concerns were brought forward and completely ignored. Leadership chose to hide issues rather than address them in a Christ-like way. The truth is not being upheld in this church, and it is not a godly environment. The assistant, Kathy, has also shown herself to be untrustworthy in how she handles matters. What’s even more telling is that those who stepped away or raised concerns including myself, who is still officially a member have been blocked from all church social media. That’s not transparency. That’s control and concealment. If you are looking for a church that truly stands on biblical truth, accountability, and integrity, this is not the place.

You won’t find a more loving and welcoming church. Bro. David speaks the truth through God’s Holy Word. The saving power of Jesus Christ who died for our sins.

Visited here last Sunday me and my wife Sandra and my son Austin and we were both not welcomed or greeted by anyone and we felt like that we were out of place . We won’t be back we are going to continue our search for where God wants us to be .

Took my son trunk or treating here and he has blue hair and I have pink and never have I ever had so many people give the ugliest looks and not even want to give my child candy. I would never have anyone attend this church. They need to learn the true meaning of being a Christian because they are very ugly inside and not wanting anyone to come to the life of God.
