I was greeted by several people my first visit and several other people each of my other visits. This is largely an older congregation, and they are still requiring masks until July 4th. I thought the worship service, which is 75 minutes long, was good and the sermons were inspiring. I really like how they have a theme verse for the year that everyone repeats (Phil 4:8). For those unfamiliar with churches of Christ, the singing is a capella (without instruments), the Lord's Supper (Communion) is taken every Sunday, and multiple men participate in leading the worship (song leading, prayers, scripture reading, preaching). Sunday worship starts at 9 am, Sunday school is at 10:30, Sunday night worship is at 5 pm, Wednesday night is at 7 pm. When I've been, morning worship has about 140 people I think.

Great wisdom here, truly great people here, and you feel safe. Don Loftis is a wonderful minister to a church that has a solid group and doing a good inner city ministry starting program.
