  We were visiting from another state last Sunday, and were so happy we could attend service at Livingston First Church. Jesus is truly worshipped here. An insightful, impactful, spirit-led message from Pastor John Cahill has stuck with me all week. The congregation was warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

  I love the people there, and they love me! I love how active they are in the community and in the world, especially for a town and church that size. The Word of God is preached passionately and truthfully, and the worship is amazing. My family has attended for several years now, and we have always been blessed by attending. We especially enjoy the Life Group small group settings; they have very literally changed my family's life. There is really nothing bad to say about Livingston First Church.

  I never imagined myself going to a United Methodist Church because I know of some that have compromised with the world, but that is not the case here. When I moved to this area, I looked on-line at the web pages of local churches to view their beliefs. First Church views closely matched mine, so I visited. this church first. I knew immediately this was where I belonged. The music is true worship, the sermons deep, holiness is preached, and the Spirit of the Lord is present. The people are sincere and the atmosphere is sweet and genuine.

  This morning was my first visit to this church. At first I was very pleased- the people were nice and the building was well maintained. However, once the service started I was extremely disappointed. During the service the pastor spoke of school shootings happening due to loneliness. My 2nd child was killed in a school shooting a few years back and I didn’t appreciate being lectured by someone who has never expierence that kind of trauma or have any concern for who might be listening in the audience. Loneliness doesn’t cause shootings and I pray that you educate yourself on this subject.
