Based on keeping up with the joneses church! Very rude and disrespectful! False teachings! And they sure as heck don’t care when you’re down and sick. All about attention in the worst way. 😁 peace♓️ bless em😌 …

My wife and I started visiting here in late March after moving here from the West coast. The messages are solid: direct from the Word without compromise, and on-point with the gospel. The mark of an outstanding church community is that it …

We've been there 3 times, once before moving to Sparta and twice since and we love it. The people here seem to genuinely care about living out what Jesus taught about loving God and loving your neighbor. And when the lead pastor was out of town, another local pastor from the River, Pastor Steven I believe, came and spoke in his stead. That's so awesome to see local churches realizing we are all part of ONE body as the church instead of competing bodies. Also, the folks at Life Church in Sparta have been great so far. Our first day there we met Miranda and Christian and Jeremy & Jessica and Amos as well as a few others who were really kind. This week when we ran back into Jeremy (one of the Youth Pastors) he remembered us from our first visit when we were considering moving here from WA and asked if we had gotten settled. That showed me he actually cared about the first conversation we had over a month ago. We totally feel like Life Church Sparta is our new church home and as people involved in ministry, we look forward to learning how we can get involved here!

We have been here a few times. The message by both pastors are great, no doubt, and they have everything you would want in a church with one exception, HOME. I'm from the west coast out of Calvary Chapel teaching, and the one thing that I would get was home at any time at any service and at any campus. This is the only thing missing from this church. It has all the bells and whistles, if that's what you're looking for, but there is no commitment and follow through to the flock. I miss this so very much. My husband and I were part of the leadership team in our prev. church, and making everyone know they were home was alway priority number #1. The smiles, the welcome, reaching out, and letting new bodies of the church know we care about you, will follow up with you and welcome you to the point where you look at one another and say, yup this is it we're home. I'm not saying life church doesn’t greet you at the door in the sparta location or say goodbye, but that's where it ends, unfortunately. The first time , I was so excited that all I wanted was for the leadership team to be as great as the worship, study, and word given. Unfortunately, it was not. We have multiple times times gone back, with a hope to feel as though this place is home. I just want a home. Home is what we desire. I know exactly that it's what we put in as well, and this is not what I speak of. It's the first time you get there and know someone is going to see you and let you know you're home, and continue to see you and let you know you're home, no matter who is greeting you that day. You can have as many greeters as you want, but it only takes that one, that ONE each time you show up. I've met a few people since we've been here, and I've asked what they love about church, and the one common denominator is I hear, is home is missing the lack of connection to be exact. Again, I love the message, and if you're ok with just going to service, hearing an amazing word God has for you, then this is it. We personally just needed home. 😌 This was the sparta campus. We'll keep going now and then because I need to be close with God, but we will keep searching for HOME. GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU AND MAY HE GIVE YOU THE HOME YOU PRAY FOR AND NEED TO FILL YOUR HOLY SPIRIT.

Church means being one! We come together as different people and become one with God. Wonderful place to worship.

It is the most down home, loving and knowledgeable bunch of people. They preach on all aspects of the Bible, even those hard to understand topics.
