  I attended Legacy while on a work trip. Let me tell you, I grew up in church, spent sometime time away and decided to give my life completely back to Christ a few months ago. There is no doubt in my mind the Holy Spirit fills this place. The worship team is the best I’ve ever seen and it’s so easy to see that they’re not doing it for show or for people to see their talent but just to praise the Lord our God. The sermon dove into parables in Matthew and Pastor Lyle did an amazing job of explaining in both today’s terms and what it meant back then!! I’ve made a plan to attend a service every three months even though I live 500 miles away. If you’relooking for a place to go, Legacy is it!

  GET THERE EARLY! My wife and I visited here Sunday for their middle service of 3. We have friends who attend here now that used to live where we do. We are the type of people who attend worship even on vacation. The service was great. The worship was awesome, the pastor's message was Biblical and challenging, the people were friendly. If you live in Nashville and are looking for a church home, I would definitely advise checking them out. Here are the few things that kept me from giving 5 stars. 1) Parking was a mess. I followed my GPS to get there and their parking is extremely limited. People were parking on the street blocks away and walking. I also had the feeling I came in from the "wrong way" as I drove down the street in the opposite direction they were sending everyone out from their earlier service. And with vehicles lining both sides, it was nearly impossible to get to the parking lot. The one "non-friendly" look we got was from the parking attendant that gave me the "what are you doing" look as if I should have known better. 2) Seating is limited and it will be packed. Thankfully this doesn't bother me and my wife as we attend a large church as well. But they had seats covered in the back forcing everyone down front. They uncovered rows to allow people to sit in them as the rows closer to the front filled in. From a visitor's (and I imagine if I were a seeker) perspective, I might want to come in and grab a seat in the back. But overall a positive experience and we will probably go back the next time we are visiting the Nashville area over a weekend. (And it doesn't hurt we already have friends there as well.)

  4 1/2 years of being here, Great church to raise your family in, very welcoming and friendly and the preaching and worship Glorifies God! Pastor has a powerful testimony and preaches from a place of what it’s like to have been there, not condemning but explaining that Christ lived and died for everyone that will accept Him! Personally hope to see you there!

  A super engaging church. Treated like family; we were greeted and people were conversational. Arrive early enough as parking and seating might be an issue. The last service is the easiest to navigate; less people and easier parking.

  First time going on Mother’s Day, this place is a joke, this 10am service was a “female pastor” who ever called her self the pastor mid sermon. She had zero depth to her message other than a “feel good” hype up. 0/0 stars. If you want quality and depths this is not the place.

  Today was my first Sunday attending this church. I recently moved to Tennessee a few weeks ago. This is an great church very engaging and positive experience. I caught the end of the worship part but the Spirit of the Lord filled the room. It was nice to look around and see people open a actual Bible and take notes. The pastor and co-pastor gave the church the vision and spoke on the greater harvest God has called the church to. I'll be back I want to help feed the 100,000.

  I searched for a church like this for years. There is real diversity here. There is real compassion here. This is a place where it's ok to be vulnerable and even broken. The people here don't look over others. Everybody matters, and no one is expendable. I have experienced SO MUCH healing getting to know the people here, and letting them get to know me.

  I visited Legacy Church recently and was very disappointed by how security handled a simple pocket tool. My friend had a small pocket knife on her keychain. Instead of telling her it wasn’t allowed and letting her take it back to her car, the security guard took it off her keychain without consent, said she couldn’t have it back, and only “maybe” would return it after the service. Long and behold, he was not there after the service. I understand the need for safety, but this felt heavy-handed and completely out of step with the welcoming spirit a church should have. Small keychain tools are common, and the way it was handled felt invasive and inconsistent. Especially when they’re not checking waistbands they’re more worried about a little nail file/nail clipper/pocket knife. It makes no sense.

  My wife and I were in Nashville last week for a wedding and we had time to catch the early service at Legacy Church. We are older and have been around for a while, might have been the oldest guy there. I loved seeing the youthful enthusiasm, the music was spot on and spirit filled. This is small church busting at the seems for reason. You would do well to keep an eye on these folks or just jump on in!

  I walked into Legacy Nashville for the first time and was warmly greeted by seemingly everyone there. They really care about people and cultivate a welcoming and loving environment. The worship is excellent and the presence of God is tangible in the Church. They also love God’s Word and are Biblically sound!

  This church has the sign below posted on one of the poles by the entrance to their parking lot. This is a church that exists in a neighborhood and functions as a public space of worship. They create havoc and nuisance at least once a week with the way their congregation drives and parks in the neighborhood. But while their literal neighbors tolerate their presence, they are threatening to arrest you for…*checks notes*…walking through their parking lot?? Are they not a sanctuary? I guess you can only seek salvation during office hours. To display a sign like this while espousing Christian values is a disgrace. So much for love thy neighbor, I guess.

  Good music, but when the pastor said, there's a reason the root word of jewelry is jew, I had to leave. Bigotry is bigotry. The others in the room should have got up and left, too.

  I read few of these negative reviews and would like to put light on something. Being a Pastor or working in ministry doesn't mean your not entitled to have fun. Doesn't mean you can't save your money for a vacation. Pastor deal with a lot. Work more than doctors do almost 24/7 care.. If Pastor wants to treat his family to vacation he is entitled to do so.. To lady having people park in front of her home on Sunday and getting worse... I believe that is amazing more people are getting to experience the love of Jesus.. Now, I have been watching live on YouTube for sometime now. Can't wait to visit in near future...

  Very concerning. Pastor seems genuine and speaks truth and is a great communicator, so my issues lie in his leadership, including even his family. Outreach to the community seems very questionable - very little spoken of in service and while the website claims “goals to feed 100,000 kids” (or similar) the link to see the details to that is broken, showing a lack of actual commitment or caring towards that goal. I’m not for sure saying they don’t care about outreach to the community or the poor, but they sure do a great job making it look like they don’t. Speaking of finances, the pastor’s wife has on her IG spending tens of thousands of dollars on Disney trips as one of her passions. Again, if outreach was a priority and we saw lots of money going back out to others, then this would not be as much of an issue. But seeing very little money go towards the poor of Nashville while the pastor’s family spends tens of thousands on trips to Disney is a bad look. The kids ministry is full of sweet people but some rooms have only one or two untrained adults with many children and the back entrance is unguarded for anyone to walk in. We would not take trust our kids here. Finally, the worship is rock star driven especially when the head leader sings. The lead male worship leader often takes the spotlight and speaking moments from other female leaders and other male leaders as if he is the only capable leader on stage. Whether that’s just poor leadership and training on his part or just basic old pride it’s another bad look and another example of potential lack of leadership/accountability from those above him. There is potential for a great church, but there are red flags everywhere for lack of financial accountability, lack of passion to care for the poor, lack of oversight and safety standards in the kids ministry and a lack of accountability for developing others and raising up healthy leaders in the church. No church is perfect but proceed with caution. Great speaking with poor oversight and leadership or accountability. Jesus was not as bright as we were hoping. Parking team is wonderful.

  Such a great worship experience. Pastor Lyle is a great storyteller. Literally putting you in the room as he expounds on the word of God! Praise and worship was awesome as the screen showed LIVE coverage of people being baptized.

  It's disheartening to see someone like "Prophet" Jeremiah speaking at the pulpit of Legacy Nashville. His presentation left much to be desired in terms of biblically sound teaching and instead veered off into personal convictions and divisiveness, particularly on secondary issues such as cessationism and women in church leadership. Such topics, while worth discussing, should never overshadow the core message of the gospel. Moreover, Jeremiah's demeanor came across as prideful and arrogant—attitudes that Scripture tells us the Lord detests. Equally concerning is the pastoral leadership’s decision to permit this presentation without correction. Allowing such teaching from the pulpit, unaddressed, raises serious questions: Are they unaware of the truth, willfully propagating error, or lacking the courage to shepherd the Lord’s flock properly? Whichever the case, this leaves people vulnerable and can severely damage how they perceive Christianity. If the concern truly lies with addressing “nominal Christians,” then the focus should be on clearly and accurately presenting the gospel, which is the “power of God unto salvation” (Romans 1:16). Let’s strive for content that unites us around the essentials of the faith, rather than leaving believers and seekers alike feeling empty and disillusioned.
