I have never given a review of a church before, but I was looking for information online for Hope Church Memphis and saw that I could—so here it goes. This church is like what I hope heaven to be: a place for everyone. I have been attending since 2013 when I had my first child, so I have a lot of years to pack into this review. Starting with Hope4Kids—having an infant in a place where I knew not one person and being new to the area was honestly intimidating. But from day one, the team welcomed me with kindness, showed me around, answered my questions, and explained exactly how everything worked so I could comfortably attend service while they cared for my little one. Nervously, I did, and when I returned, my son was happy, smiling, and well cared for. That moment meant everything to me. Everyone I met was genuinely welcoming. Unlike some places I visited where someone greeted you at the door and then no one spoke to you again, this church felt different. People sitting on your row actually introduce themselves, ask about you, and make conversation. It never feels forced or fake—it feels like family. Even as a large church, there is something very warm and personal about the atmosphere. Whether you are a longtime member or walking in for the first time, people truly make an effort to make you feel seen, comfortable, and included. There is even a free coffee bar, which makes for a great start to the morning! The music ministry is amazing, blending K-LOVE-style worship with gospel music to create an uplifting atmosphere for worship that reaches people from different backgrounds and preferences. The preaching and teaching team breaks down the Word in a way that is easy to understand and apply to everyday life. They even provide handouts so you can continue reading, studying, and growing on your own throughout the week. Although this church is massive, it does not behave like a mega church. There are many opportunities to volunteer in different ministries, join a small group Bible study, and genuinely build relationships. Even in the lobby before service, people gather for quick breakfast, conversation, and fellowship, which helps make such a large church feel much smaller and connected. The Hope Shoppe is also a wonderful addition—whether you want to pick up a cute outfit, grab take-home meals, or snacks. And I would be remiss if I did not mention the cookies and Hope Mix… absolutely scrumptious! After attending since 2013, I can honestly say this church has been a welcoming, loving, and faith-filled place for my family. If you are looking for a church where people truly care, where the Word is taught in a practical way, and where everyone feels welcome, this is definitely worth visiting.

Best church I have ever attended. There truly is a place for everyone at Hope. Come join us for service on Saturday night, or at one of the two services Sunday morning. And if you love Sunday service but aren't an early riser, check out The Stirring at 5:30pm.

Love coming to the Sunday evening service called the Stirring. Music is wonderful. Preacher Eli does an outstanding job with the message. I've been coming for years. Very casual and laid back. They offer free coffee, hot tea and iced tea. You can even take your drinks into the sanctuary. There is stadium seating, cushy seats, cup holders and big screens so you don't miss a thing. Love this church.

Contemporary worship services. People are very friendly. I walked in and was able to join a small group the same day and went to their home and watched movies and ate pizza. It makes it easy to find new friends who are Christians.

I go with my granddaughter and son in law I love love love this church. We went palm Sunday the music and Sermon was awesome .When I see the granddaughters on Sunday that's how you do it. Putting God first and the coffee is great.

My husband and Son were Members . My husband and I moved to Little Rock AR in 2019. I am Catholic and was not a Member but I went every Sunday and truly loved it. My husband also went on Mission Trip to Mexico with the Church. My son remained a Member until he moved out of Town last year.

I’m visiting from Austin Texas and I decided to check out this church. I was not disappointed! This church is beautiful from the building to the people and the service! I came for the 9:30am message and stayed for the 11:00am. On top of all that, on my way out, I grabbed some dinner from the little store they have in there.
