Back where my husband and I are from in SC, there was a large church in town that had this slogan, “I love my church”. You’d see it on yard signs around the area, and bumper stickers everywhere, and it was always so odd to me! I never understand why people would embellish everything with such a simple phrase. But I do now, because I would proudly put a “I love Harvest Point” sticker across my car, or even stick a yard sign out despite HOA approval. 😅 My husband and I have found over the past few years that Harvest Point is a church full of people who truly yearn to see God. People who DO hear from God. And people from all walks of life, in every sense of the word. In every way, this church is rich, and authentic. I feel at peace with the sweet mamas who help me keep eyes on my many kiddos, uplift me in the hard work of motherhood, and give wisdom when needed. I’m thankful for the harvesting men who want to build something in White House that lasts for generations. And I’m thankful (and partial) to our students who are constantly serving and enjoying building God’s kingdom with us. We’re blessed enough to be apart of something really special here at Harvest Point. God, bring the harvest in your perfect time! Thank you for bringing us here. I LOVE MY CHURCH!
