My wife and I are founding Pastors of Good News Worship Center established 34 years ago. In 2020 we set our son Donnie and Lori Barber in as Senior Pastors and they are doing an incredible job leading our congregation in His love and grace. There is a fresh anointing moving in our midst and a new vision for our future. I encourage you to come visit us and experience this amazing presence of the Lord. Bishop Darrell Barber

It sounds cliché to say GNWC feels like family, but that’s what they were to me, when I was at my lowest. They welcomed me & my children with open arms. I kept hearing them say “ We are better together” and then they walked through my hardest battles hand in hand, with me. They loved me & were the hands & feet of Jesus for me. When I tell you now, we are better together, I mean it in every single way. If you’re looking for a church, this is it. We love you as you are. Come and see!

When my family and I moved to Lexington from Memphis (where i was born and lived over 40 yrs), I still traveled back to Memphis every Sindah amd Wednesday because I loved my chirch there so much. I never thought I’d find a local church home that I loved, fit in, and was asoved as much as I did my church in Memphis. Then I visited GNWC…my husband joined 1st…and after about a yr and a half…I felt the Lord leading me to quit traveling to Memphis for church. I statyed regularly attending GNWC & fell in love with it. Now, I cannot imagine attending anywhere else! I always feel welcome, loved, and like I belong…because I DO! AMD SO DO YOU!

I’ve been here for about 6 years. They treat me like family of their own. I can count on each person for help when I need it. I’m truly blessed to find this church.

My family has been attending here for the past 5+ years. If you are looking for a church where you have the freedom to worship the way you feel led by God to do, I would encourage you to visit. We want our church to be a place where everyone feels welcome and free from judgment. Come see for yourself why we say and believe that, "We Are Better Together"

Amazing place to worship! The music has something for everyone. The youth ministry is growing and thriving and not afraid to show the love of God. Caring, accepting, friendly congregation. The Pastors of the church are outstanding guides to finding Grace.

My wife and I live in Alabama, but we know Pastors Darrell and Donna and they are truly the most kind and loving people with a heart to serve God and share the blessings of His Kingdom. If we lived in or around Lexington, we would definitely attend Good News Worship Center!
