Woman who came to the car and said she “runs the food bank” is horrible, the other woman was a sweetheart so no complaints with her. We called ahead of time to make sure we’d be ok, 5 women currently in a sober living home but nothing to do with each other all needing to provide for themselves. We were told through the phone that it wouldn’t be a problem, however the woman who came outside walked up to our car already with a nasty attitude refused to help us because we’re one “household”, even through we are all completely separate. Shouldn’t be working for a church at all!!!!! We ended up getting one box for one person, grateful for it but 4 women got nothing and might not have something to eat tonight. We will try to split this as much as we can between us I guess.

Everyone is always so nice, and friendly, (and they ALWAYS ASK us if they can pray for us)! 😁 I ALWAYS 'LET' them!!! They 'are' ALL SO VERY KIND, (AND SUCH a BLESSING to THE COMMUNITY)!!! 💯 GOD BLESS them ALL!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💯

During their Great Grocery Giveaway they refused me help. Absolutely disgusting, they claim to help those in need yet they did not help me when I literally begged. This morning I sat in my car for 2hrs waiting while the temperature was -10 degrees celcius to secure my spot in the line. Close to the start at 9 am a lady asked me if I have registered, I said no, as I am new to this process. She said she will not help me as I have not registered. When I asked for guidance on how & where to register she bluntly refused to give me an answer. With tears in my eyes I begged her to help me as I have been here for 2hrs and I really, really need the food. She refused. It’s already embarrassing and makes one self conscious to ask for help but to be turned down because of lack of registration is absolutely unheard of! For 40minutes on my way home I just sobbed as I have never felt so hopeless, disregarded and invisible. Shame on her & their ”helping hand”.

Very Unfriendly and Unwelcoming Church to Strangers.....Go somewhere that is more Open to New and Different Ideas and People. What are they afraid of if they are believers?

I used to live in the Springmont subdivision right up around the corner and was a regular shopper @ Sav-A-Lot.. I remember Friendship Church when it was first beginning... WOW!!! I think this is really amazing!!!
