We participate in the sports leagues, as well as VBS (for 8 years now!) and are so happy with our experience! My kids have had the greatest coaches (shout out to Coach Lacey, Knapke, and Olsen) and it's evident that each coach actually enjoys and loves what they do. The sports cost little to nothing (compared to other leagues in the area) so I know they're not doing it for the money! They invest so much time and energy into these kids- and their spouses are usually there helping out as well! We will be sad when my kids turn 13 and are no longer eligible for their sports league. We have a home church, but if we didn't, we would certainly consider FRBC, based on 99% of the interactions and experiences we've had here :)

Excellent church and Christian school. We are here every year for state competition in fine arts. Great fellowship and environment.

Our kids go to school here and everyone has their opinions… but I’ll take this place over any other school in Murfreesboro. Sure, like all schools they have things we don’t like or agree… but that’s impossible to agree on everything. Teachers are, for the most part, kind and have a lot love for these kids. We have 4 kids, one graduated from here and we expect the rest to do the same… one starting back in 1st grade.

Great KJV preaching, real balanced with not shoving down convictions down your throat. Letting the Holy Spirit do it's work (still very traditional). I love how there is some worship music sprinkled in the music not just only hymns (grew up with hymns but love both). Decent sized church, friendly but not "overly friendly". Good balance on seniors, young adults and children (sign of a healthy church). Overall would highly recommend checking it out.

I and my kids joined this church. We love all our new church family and especially the pastor and wife. Always fill at home when I'm there.

Was looking for a new church home and didn’t take long to figure out this was definitely not the place for me. The pastor and his son are so self absorbed that all their sermons involve guess who? Them. Haven’t gotten any kind of sense of caring about the community or audience they’re preaching to. But HAPPILY take your $ at the end of their soliloquy. Lastly, make sure you leave before their horrendous choir comes on because your ears will bleed.

As a new family joining the church I've never felt so welcomed! Both Pastor Mike Norris and Pastor Joel Norris are so kind and loving. Even though it is a large church it feels like a small church family.

I've been going here for 30 years. Great people. Great music. Great preaching. Gospel is always given. Very Bible-based (kjv is used from the pulpit). Traditional but not stale and dated. We have a second generation pastor who has brought new energy and ideas while honoring his father's legacy. Very multi-generational congregation. Bus ministry. Community sports ministries. Fabulous, affordable Christian School, but also many homeschoolers. Many opportunities for service, and yearly events that we look forward to...tent revival, harvest festival, missions conference, vbs, etc. 3 services weekly (all different), and classes and groups for all lifestages. Please visit us.

My kid was going to church for awhile but has had the other girls making fun of her a nothing being done. I confront the bus driver an he did not wanna hear from me her mother. Also a grown woman tells my child her hair is unholy. Definitely not the church I will allow my child to attend anymore. Church is to learn about God and Jesus not a place to be ridiculed and talked down to. Would give no stars if it was an option.

We love Franklin Road Baptist Church. We have four children, two of which are in college locally. The young singles class offers practical teaching that applies to their daily life. There are also many activities to be involved in that promote a closeness between their peers. Pastor Norris frequently reminds our church family that the young adults, teens, and children are not only our future church - but our church now. You can tell that he loves the younger generation and has a desire to teach them to have a personal relationship with God. Regardless of your age or marital status, there are many age appropriate classes and ministries to be involved in. It's a great place to worship.
