Several people in the neighborhood have been verbally and physically threatened and assaulted by the two security guards working on Sunday mornings. One got in their personal vehicle to follow and threaten a dog walker two blocks away at the entrance to their townhouse for not changing sides of the street while walking their dog past the church. He threatened to Mace and potentially kill the dog. This is disgraceful, disgusting, and ILLEGAL. Both are off duty police officers abusing their authority. The church was alerted to this happening on multiple occasions and has chosen to do nothing. But hey, it’s all about love, right?!?

15th Avenue has been my home church since 2013. I was baptized there in 2015, and currently serve on several ministries. If you want to do God's work, there are so many beautiful ways to do so here. It is a place to feel welcome, to feel loved, and to hear the word of God. Our current pastor Reverend Byron Jackson has a way of reaching each individual with his messages each Sunday, with relevant, but biblically based preaching. Plus, the choir is wonderful and there are children's Sunday School classes weekly and children's church once a month, plus nursery services.

I attended a "funeral" which was joyful as well as poignant. Although such gatherings are regarded generally as sad, this experience was uplifting to the surviving relatives, in-laws and other attendees. The preachers and musicians made the service what it was.

This is a okay church I guess I can't really place where my feelings are for this church it seems to me that they cater to a mid to older crowd but I don't know I'm not sure I mean it's it's okay. It actually seemed a little bougie but that's just my opinion you would have to go and sit and get the feel of it yourself. They have a new pastor I do like him his sermon does seem to get everyone involved.

This is a very Community-minded church. They routinely host meetings of socially active church people from all over the city without charging s fee. The seating, view lines and acoustics are perfect for such large meetings. My fellow church members of Second Presbyterian Church are grateful to them

Tuesdays is bingo time for seniors. Lunch is served. Transportation is furnished for village manor residents. Join the fellowship with a small membership fee. Sometimes chair exercises are enjoyed while lunch is being prepared. Fun time and the prizes are very useful
