I have only been to Sunday worship a few times since they reopened after COVID19. Right now, the auditorium is set up with round tables spaced apart so each family has their own table. There are some long tables and pews in the back for individuals. The worship service has followed this format: about 4 songs, a sermon (currently going through the book of James), then a song followed by announcements and dismissal. The songs are contemporary praise with varied leaders playing anything from guitar, piano, to violin and box drums. The lyrics are displayed on large screens in the front. I am used to going to a small house church prior to COVID that took Communion each week, so I miss that. I'm not sure how often they take it or if it is a COVID thing. The sermons have been pretty good. The preacher keeps repeating two concepts: being right is not necessarily being righteous and how our job is to change ourselves and not necessarily to try to change others. Because of COVID, there really isn't much else going on. They do broadcast the serviced on line for those who don't want to go in person. Mask compliance was close to 100 when I first started going, but that seems to have dropped a bit recently. Edit: June 2021- No longer sitting at tables, no loner wearing masks. Bible classes and other things back up. Edit: Just 2023- I no longer go there, but they sold their building and are planning on building a smaller building on their lower lot. They are currently meeting in the Old Hickory theater, I think.

If you're looking for a place to belong and experience "community" this is it. It's truly apparent the reason for this church's existence is to be a place in the Village where families unite in the love and hope of Christ and experience His grace.
