I moved to Knoxville 8 years agai and tried a couple churches before I found Faith Promise. I have now been attending for 5 years and even got baptized here! Its a great church and the staff is amazing!

Visited this church today. We are from out of state, visiting family. The senior pastor has a style of preaching that feels like a motivational speaker who yells loudly and picks a topic to preach on — then finds scripture to support it. …

My husband and I attend Faith Promise Church in Bristol, TN and I finally found my HOME church. There is so much love and support here. They encourage you to step up and find your purpose to serve and it is exactly what we all need in this dark world. I would highly recommend you check out FP. It has been a true GODsend for us.

Jesus & Pastor Chris. I can't imagine hearing the message I heard today from anyone else. It was like Chris Hodges, at Church of the Highlands (Grants Mill - Liberty Park - Birmingham, AL). Pastor Chris was awesome.

Went to this church the day the senior pastor came back from being out. Upon walking in the music was loud, lights, songs were great. But the pastor started speaking about giving, calling out the church saying 82% of the church isn’t giving. It didn’t sit right with me shaming the church instead of thanking them. Mind you this is a mega church. Then as he goes on at one point he talks about being an empty nester with his wife and even says he wants a naked house, (meaning his wife to be naked in the house) starts talking about how he’s lost money in the past makes sure to mention he’s made hundreds of thousands and that this was taken from him but he trusted God during it.. it seemed like this was a sales conference, he was hyping the crowd up to give and almost saying God loves those who attend church and those who give. Something was off about it for me and my husband so we will not be returning. I hope this was the only service like this and that this review will help the church and help others wanting to attend.

I'm visiting from MT and decided to go to FP this morning. It was such a great experience all around! The greeters were plentiful and friendly. My 3 yr old grandson was welcomed warmly and had a great time in children's church! Worship time was wonderful and focused on JESUS! The message was short, but powerful. I loved their heart for the lost and hurting. So much right going on there!

I went to this church this morning with my wife and our friend whom has attended for a while. Lovely environment from first impressions, but about 15 mins in, the pastor started telling a story about a woman who came in as a homosexual and was “revived”. As a person who has had to go in and out of churches my whole life, due to judgement, to hear what I heard, was very disappointing and disturbing. It’s wrong as a pastor and church to pick and choose what is spoken on. If god saw me and my wife as an abomination, do you think I would know gods love? Do you think I would know the Holy Spirit? No. Shame on the pastors of this church and those to attend it. How dare you all be so hypocritical and hateful towards people who just want to worship the lord with you.

The pastor whom is the head of the church is never available unless after 4 calls and he is too busy to talk to anyone that doesn’t donate 10 percent of their income. I literally called 4 times begging to speak to him and that I needed help and was put to voicemail and another pastor when asking and telling I only needed to speak w him. If you truly care about god and are his disciple and preach it maybe you should not have so many people blocking you from talking to someone that needs you and if you see this maybe should call. I am from a Catholic family and schooled but I will say that it took me 5 min to get ahold of him after not speaking for 10 years and Pastor Zach after 6 hours and 6 calls doesn’t even know bc he is busy and going on vacation now

I first visited Faith Promise 12 years ago and was so happy to find a church that welcomed me and my family to come as we are! I've attended 2 different campuses over the years and I've never felt more welcome at any other church. They loved and welcomed me when I was a single mom as well as when I became married. It's so refreshing to look around during service and see such a mix of people from all walks and stages in their lives, and know that we're all in this together o❤

The first problem I have with this church is that on the internet everywhere.Especially Google search. It's saying there's a Sunday evening service.Well, we found out tonight. That's not the casee we drop up on an empty lot. And lastly, only I believe they could do a better job with their church information and resources as well. It was difficult for us to figure out how to apply for the angel program on Christmas 2 years in a row. And then they said there is no more friends for 2 years..

I’ve been at Faith Promise Church since 2016. I have grown so much in my spirit and knowledge of who Jesus is and who he calls me to be in his kingdom! I Love this church and Love Pastor Chris and Pastor Zac and their families. I am incredibly blessed to be a part of Faith Promise!

I had asked to speak with Zach, a pastor, at Faith Promise, regarding a very difficult situation that I found myself in, and how to let go of my anger towards those involved and how to forgive them, but he said due to speaking engagements and his calendar, he didn't do such things so the church set up an appointment with a therapist, Ann Conner, which is not what I asked for. She was rude, judgmental, dismissive and interruptive. I walked out. I contacted her supervisor and both lead pastors, including Zach. I heard nothing back. It's been over a week. I also found it disturbing that the main pastor mentioned at the previous service that "Thanks to their church, they were able to donate TWENTY devotionals to the underprivileged". This is a mega church and if he considers that a huge accomplishment, well, he really needs Jesus. No longer attending. Disgusted.....Thank God I had found 2 loving pastors, at my church, in Michigan, before I moved here, because I probably would have thought all pastors were superficial like the ones at Faith Promise. But? God simply showed me their true colors and I've moved on.

I just visited once, so this is a first impression. A rocky start when the crowd control seated me on the front row while the back half was empty. After the first song, I went to leave and found they had opened seating further back, so I stayed. Music was very loud and contemporary (not bad, just what it is). Then the good: The sermon was great. Challenging, scriptural with practical application. A message on the good Samaritan and the call to 'go do' and not just 'be good'. It was presented with a chance to get involved and make a difference. I was noticed as a visitor by a greeter on the way out and ask my opinion. I shared much of the above and it was well received. Overall a good Sunday morning with a challenging call for life changing faith. I recommend you try it.

We’re from NJ and we have family that lives in Maryville. We’ve been to both campuses in Pellissippi and Maryville. The Pellissippi campus is UNBEATABLE! The presence of the Lord is in this church. The people and pastors are on fire for God. Our church is similar to FPPellissippi but there’s just something about this campus that is so special. The music is diverse and the messages are powerful. You can feel community and community building at this church. I look forward to Sundays when I’m visiting just to go to church. They just launched their new app and you can submit prayer requests and see other members prayer requests which I’m excited about so I can feel connected back in New Jersey.
