When my wife and I moved to Knoxville finding a church was a big deal. We shopped around for a place we felt that we could grow in Christ. When we entered the doors of Emmanuel we were greeted by some of the most wonderful and genuine people. We felt immediately welcome and at home. We continued to attend services and really felt we were growing in Christ. As time progressed we didn't feel like a member of a church but a member of a family. We love this body of Christ and encourage anyone who is looking for a Christ filled church to come and visit.

My wife and I first started attending Emmanuel a year ago. There are few places I have visited that were as friendly and welcoming. The worship was filled with God's presence, and the Word was in depth and challenging while practical and applicable in the same moment. Since coming to Emmanuel, I have seen tremendous growth in my own life as well as in my wife and two children. They have a huge vision, a heart for outreach and missions both locally and abroad, and seem to have all the plates of a mega church spinning in a smaller local context. I would highly recommend to anyone looking!

I love it and am so very at home here! Its the most friendly church I've ever been at and there is always something new and exciting going on. It is Biblically sound with great teaching and you can really feel the love of God. The sermons are not only interesting and easy to understand but lively and interactive. Great place to go if you're looking for a home church that will embrace you and take you in like family.

Amazing church group. I always feel loved and welcome here. Haven’t been in a while because of car troubles, but Michael and candi are amazing and the nursery is so good with my son. I feel God whenever I’m there and I feel blessed to have them in my life. Love them so much. Thank you for existing

Genuine, loving people. A great place to raise our children. The staff is caring and passionate about Jesus and His Word. A huge heart for home and world missions.

Relevant teaching, meaningful worship, and friendly people. Church is growing, but already functions with the excellence of a large church. I highly recommend!
