  This church is amazing. When I first walked into their Christmas service, the Sunday before Christmas, I was in complete awww! I walked in, during a song and the choir sounded amazing, there was a man jumping on stage as he was singing and I just fell in love with the music. Once the Paster encouraged us to meet others in the parish and to with them a Merry Christmas, I made it my mission to meet as many as I could from the choir. I may have seemed like the strangest person, going up to these complete strangers to tell them how amazing they sounded!! But they all welcomed me, thanked me and told me how I made them feel. Even after telling them I was of a completely different religion, they still made me feel so welcome and invited me back any time! We went back the next week, and the people I had met the week before all remembered me and made me feel just as welcomed!! If you are looking for a place to worship, to pray, or simply to find love and support in the Johnson City area of Tennessee, I highly recommend this parish/family! They will make you feel loved and welcomed as soon as you walk in the door.

  Cornerstone is absolutely awesome! The spirit of love that is at Cornerstone is so real and of God. The body of believers are about relationship and not religion. We love that the word of God is shared unapologetically, and expounded on weekly! The worship is powerful but never about entertainment. If you’re tired of commercial boxed up📦 Christianity, and looking for a place that is authentic and Christ-Centered then Cornerstone is for you!   Love this church. Most Friendly people ever. Great music for worship service. Wonderful pastors. They teach the word. I have tried to find a church closer to home but still keep coming back here. Everyone wants to feel God's presence while at church. I always feel the spirit of our Lord in this place. Thank you, Jesus, for bringing me to this church.

  The best church I have ever been to. Real love felt immediately, those who attend do care about what bothers you. The presence of God is undeniable. The teaching is only straight from the Bible. I have learned do much and my life has changed so much. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. A solid 10 out of 10. Truly led by the Holy Spirit.

  Oh such a wonderful place of worship!! Spirit filled and the people are very welcoming. They have an area which have age appropriate classes monitored so that adults/parents can worship and feel ok. I also had to use the private room for newborns and it was awesome. I could see the entire message and worship on the screen.

  My wife and I moved from Maine specifically for the purpose of joining this church! I don't know anywhere where we'd get better teaching. The people are loving and the worship team members really glorify Jesus as opposed to just showcasing their talents, which are considerable. The leadership team is very "real" and approachable. We're proud to call this church our home.

  I started going to this church almost 7 years ago and I honestly didn't expect much, I didn't plan on ever joining a church. Anyways fast forward 5 years and I became a member. Joining this church didn't just give me a church home but instead gave me a home and so much more. It gave me a family and let me tell you the people that go here would do anything for you. If you haven't checked it out you definitely should. It's honestly like coming home.

  I must say this Church is the definition of Love. You see it in everyone -both young and old. As a foreigner, the warmness I receive always amazes me. The Shepards are phenomenal in bringing bible based truths to us with a special swagger and the music is out of this world. What more can you ask for? Glad I found this church

  I appreciate the soundness of the teaching and the all-around good feeling of being part of the church. 4 for years so far!! You can really tell that Pastor and and dr. Barry Barnes really take their time to study and research the Bible before presenting it
