We're pretty picky when it comes to solid doctrine and biblical teaching. We don't go to church to be entertained or cheered up -- we go for community fellowship, worship, and God's word. Pastors Mike and Dan don't miss a beat, and even if they do, they'd be the first to admit it. With humble hearts and teachable spirits, they actively tend to the congregation as good shepherds should ... with genuine caring. They won't chase you down if you run away, but they will give you every opportunity to get connected into a body of believers that care about each other --- not because it's a social club, but because Christ tells them to. I know it sounds weird, but obedience is the best reason of all. Anyway, that's why we go.

Friendly, fast growing church with knowledgable teachers. An outstanding, very hard working pastor who cares about all people. The pastor teaches and preaches God's word in an understanding, wise, and life applicable way. At Community Baptist, they teach and preach Jesus...God's plan for your redemption.

I’ve been attending Community Baptist Church for just over three years, and this Sunday I’ll officially become a member! I grew up in the church and have been a Christian most of my life. While I’ve attended many good churches over the years, the ones that left the biggest impact were always the ones where I formed real, meaningful connections with people. CBC is exactly that kind of church. When I moved to Tennessee four years ago, I visited over a dozen churches before finding my home at CBC. I liked them all, but the moment I walked through the doors here, it just felt right—like family. The people are incredibly warm and welcoming. Pastor Mike is an outstanding, Bible-based teacher and preacher who delivers powerful, truthful messages every week. The worship is genuine and collective, focused on praising God rather than putting on a performance. We’re not a tiny church, but we’re not a mega-church either—the size feels perfect. It allows for real relationships while still offering strong teaching, great music, and vibrant community life built up from our small groups. Just recently, I learned firsthand why membership matters. I wanted to vote in favor of our incoming Associate Pastor, John Powell (and his wife Holly), and realized only members could vote. Thankfully, 97% of the members agreed with me, and they’ll be joining us next month. I’m so excited for what God is doing here! If you’re looking for a church home in the Spring Hill area, I highly recommend Community Baptist Church. Come visit—you’ll feel the difference right away. If this review brought you in, please come say hi. I’d love to meet you!
