Clear Creek is a church where if you're even the slightest bit different you will not be included. I've been going to Clear Creek since I was 12, I'm now 18, I'm autistic and was mostly mute for the first year I went here, I got bullied so bad, I had food thrown at me and was laughed at and called retarded. this church is full of stuck up rich people. the male leaders are all creeps who privately message the teenage girls and creep on them, girls are forced to wear tshirts during pool parties because the male leaders can't control themselves. I've been touched inappropriately multiple times by a specific male youth leader who has been creepy to me for years. their preachings are very opinion based and sometimes hateful, sometimes it even strays away from the bible, and the preacher talks to everyone like they're babies instead of preaching to people like adults. although the environment is quite nice, it's very clean, the events are usually well planned and fun, but the people are just so awful, I've left the church crying more times than I can count because of bullying and exclusion and creepy men. I will put myself out there and still get blatantly ignored, and anyone who isn't privileged white people will get treated like they're nothing and unwelcomed, there was another autistic girl who was there for most of the years I was and she would have meltdowns and panic attacks all the time cause the other girls would exclude her and bully her so much. this church does not understand the true meaning of being a Christ follower, and is instead a place for people to get together and be jerks. There was also an incident where my full name was put on the church website when I was underage without mine or my parents knowledge for some reason and it led predators who were already creeping on me right where I was and I spent months trying to figure out how they were finding me and I had to get the FBI involved, so thanks for that Clear Creek! I will also give credit to the previous youth minister Michael who did an absolutely incredible job at controlling the bullying and exclusion and always made the space very safe for the few special needs people like myself.

I have been to many churches, and have NEVER experienced the love and wonderful people I have experienced here anywhere else. The services are powerful, the organization of the church is effective. The kids and youth ministry are incredible. The elders are genuine men who care about everyone and do a great job at staying connected to their members, despite the congregations large size. While they are a "Church of Christ," they are not your traditional church of Christ with closed minded beliefs and judgmental attitudes towards those who believe and practice differently. They believe, teach, and practice grace and compassion. I have experienced this firsthand. If you're unsure, watch a sermon or whole service on their youtube page. I truly love this church, and I am certain you will too.

They sold their soul to be like the “big” church down the road. But hey, y’all rock on. I hope your church is very entertaining, sure was not friendly.
