My husband and I joined them for Sunday Bible class at 9 a.m. and worship at 9:50 a.m. while traveling through from Gun Barrel City, TX to Pidgeon Fork, TN. We were welcomed warmly and inquired of generally. The sermon centered on Acts 4, and our need to Ignore the Noise, polical correctness, and focus on obeying God and maintaining a reputation of righteous living more than pleasing others or conforming to shifting societal standards of acceptability. We were reminded that those who point out the truth of Jesus as Lord will draw criticism, animosity and attacks. The Church meets again at 5 p.m. for accapella praise and worship and pulpit message.
