My experience was defiantly one i could never forget. My first time entering the church, I was instantly greeted and sent to Monica show me around, explain how things worked her position in the church and what all they do for their community. I went for their Christmas Mall and it was completely packed helping families that are going through hard times and just seeing how crazy it looked due to the amount of people inside get everyone there had a smile and patience on their face. I felt welcome, not judged, very comfortable. As I was leaving , I was greeted by this beautiful young woman named Jerri, who had the most beautiful smile and instantly paired up with me and walked through the parking lot, to my car. She talked so freely that it made me feel like we’ve known each other forever and for the first time in my entire life, I had someone pray over me and the emotions I felt was something I can’t explain. I’m not one that goes to church, I haven’t been in years, but I’ve also never felt so at peace in my entire life. Those two women were a complete God send to me when I needed it most and I will forever be so thankful to have met you both, even with something so simple. Thank you both so much for everything from just listening, smiling, and making me comfortable at a vulnerable time. The entire church was absolutely amazing and if I could give more stars, I would!! So thank you again 🩷

Love this church! Love that the pastor is down to earth and preaches God’s Word! All of it! The outreach in the community is amazing and people are very friendly. Diverse, which I love and I can come as I am! It is large…very large lol. But it’s so amazing I deal with the size ❤️

Great place full of the greatest people who go out of there way to make sure you feel welcome. The worship team is full of great musicians and awesome singers. All of the preachers are above and beyond anything I've ever experienced at other churches

This is by far the best church I've ever attended. You are greeted from the parking lot and are personally taken to the auditorium. You are surrounded by smiling and loving people. You have your choice of bottled water or hot coffee. The preaching is amazing and Biblical. The worship is out of this world!! Come see why we have expanded into three churches: Papermill (our main campus), Bridgewater (west campus), and Powell (north campus). May God bless you and lead you to your church fit.

Love Love LOVE this church! We have been attending for 2.5 years now and couldn’t feel more at home. Since the beginning, we felt so welcomed, problems and all. City Hills doesn’t pretend to be perfect, because we don’t have to! Jesus is! Pastor Brandon and his team have curated an honest, safe environment that encourages us to be open about our struggles and accept the grace that Jesus provides to ALL of us. I’m so thankful for this church. If you’re on the fence about visiting, just know you are welcome here!!

My daughter and I started going to City Hills two months ago and WOW. We absolutely love this church. Praise Jesus for helping us find City Hills! Highly recommend if you want to feel the Lord’s presence, connection, and love. 🙏 …

Love the church! Pastor is great and really easy to listen to. Children’s church is super welcoming. I love that they do baptisms in the back to where you’re not up on stage under all the Bright lights. My only concern at first was that there were video games right when you walked into the children’s church, but it also got my son to go inside without crying so there’s that.😆 we’ve already been back a few times and think we will make this our Home Church!

I have been attending this church for a couple years now, and always seem to get something out of every message. I am just now posting this review though, because today after the service one of the volunteers, Tim, flagged me down to let me know one of my tires was flat and then went absolutely above and beyond and helped me put on my spare since I was there by myself. If he was getting paid he would deserve a raise, but this was all just out of the kindness of his heart. Beautiful church with an amazing congregation of servants for Jesus. Could not recommend this place any more if you are looking for a church in the area. Tim, if you ever see this thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 🙏🏼

I was there for their food pantry it was wonderful. The Church is large it has a gym and seems to have a lot of things for their members from young children to adult.

I've been attending City Hills for 2 years. I felt the Holy Spirit upon entering the parking lot. I was joyfully greeted and welcomed. I knew i had found my home after experiencing that very first service! I jumped right into my first ever small group, one of the many "Freedom" groups. I highly recommend joining a small group! A variety are offered and it's a great way to meet people in a smaller, more intimate setting. I've bonded with some wonderful women through small groups. Worship is phenomenal with contemporary music and CHC has down-to-earth pastors at both locations who deliver spirit-filled messages. I've heard great things about the youth and young adult's ministries, too. I plan to start bringing my 6 year old gd. One more plug... At the end of the Freedom small group study, I rededicated my life at the Freedom Conference and was rebaptised at 53 years old! Although I was first baptised at 14 years old, I feel closer to God and have a more personal relationship to Christ than I ever have had! This review was lengthy, but I want everyone to experience what I've got!

Absolutely amazing place. I have been apart of City Hills for about 7 years, I love this place. My pastors are truly family and I am so thankful to call City Hills home, It is word centered and there is a focus to go outside of the walls to impact our city. There is an intentionality on diversity, connection and real community.

Attended here for over a year before my family and I moved out of state and it was honestly incredible to attend such a spirit filled church. Amazing staff and excellent pastor!

I finally feel like I've found a church to call home in Knoxville. I've been looking for a church I could really get involved with and not just feel like an attendee. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot the very first Sunday, I was welcomed with open arms and smiling faces everywhere. There seems to be a real sense of community here. Everyone on staff and those serving have done a phenomenal job guiding me and answering my questions. The Pastor's speeches are so intentional, relatable, and well thought out...and it helps that there is always a laugh or three. AND The Worship Team is OUT OF THIS WORLD. The first service I ever went to had me in tears because of how powerful the message was delivered through song and the amazing production of it all. It was incredible and I still get those feelings almost every week. It really is a great place to come together to Worship God and to be reminded you aren't supposed to do this thing called life alone. This is a church you don't want to just attend... This is a church that you want to be a part!

I love this church. We moved to Knoxville in May from South Florida and before coming, I did my research on churches I wanted to check out. This one was first on my list and I have not visited any other church since. Pastor Brandon has a gift to preach and his words speak to me and family every service! Coffee and the word of Jesus is strong with this place and I recommend to anyone looking for a home church! ;)
