Visited the church a couple time and the congregation and leadership is kind and welcoming! They also host the scouts troop 101 which is how I was introduced to the church by bringing my son.

Lovely church, nursery is fantastic. Very community friendly, help available to those who need it and ask. Super kid friendly. Very accommodating, wheelchair accessibility throughout the entire building, including an elevator. Parking is split, there's a parking lot which you enter the church on the 1st floor or park on the onside of the building for quicker access to the 2nd floor, although an elevator is available to take you to any of the 3 floors.

This is the church of my grandparents, joined when they moved there in 1950. This is the church of my father and aunt, raised going there from age 10 and 7 years old, onward. This is the church of my youth: non-judgemental, supportive, loving, small. My sisters and I grew up in this church, from christening, to summer Bible Schools to Sunday Hymn Sings and Ice Cream Socials. We shared the cul-de-sac with the Methodist Church in our small town, neither church always having a large youth presence. We would share Bible school duties: one year we all went to the Methodist Church, the next year at Bethel. Same with summer "early service" one summer at KUMC, the next at BPCUSA. I owe so much of who I am to this place, but more importantly, to the PEOPLE who make up the church. I will have a place close in my heart for Bethel forever.
