A warm and welcoming community of believers. They have three services. The 9:00 traditional service Sunday morning. The 10:00 Multicultural service Sunday morning. And the 11:00 Contemporary Service Sunday morning.

I have enjoyed service here several times and a few events that they have held. I am not a member but I have always enjoyed visiting and have always felt welcomed. I am in the process of looking for a church closer to home and this is my “to visit, to try” list. If anyone has any recommendations in this area, please let me know!

I went to church here for years and would participate in other events that happened here. The majority of the church members are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and will treat you like family almost from the moment you walk in the door. The new pastor seems quite friendly, and the youth pastor is great with kids, just don't try to give the church leadership any new ideas on how to improve things or you'll see a different side of some of them. Great place if you just want to worship on Sunday mornings though!

My son and daughter both attended the parents day out program…one day, my one year old daughter had a high fever due to what we found out a day later was an ear infection. It wasn’t until I picked her up that she’d had the fever since 10 or 11:00 that morning (pick up is at 2:00). NO ONE called me so my little girl sat in there miserable with a high fever. The teachers in my son and daughter’s classes were not very warm or welcoming. We will not be going back there for child care.

My 4 year old daughter is about to start her 3rd and final year at Advent PDO, and she is so excited to be returning to school! She has learned a tremendous amount with the curriculum she has been taught along with having Spanish class and Chapel, which is preparing her for kindergarten. Her teachers—Ms. Haley, Ms. Marie, and Ms. Heather (for 2 yr olds), Ms. Valerie, Ms. Cha, and Ms. Susan (for 3 yr olds), Ms. Jackie for Spanish, along with every teacher that has substituted in her class, have been incredibly kind and helpful. Ms. Linda, the Director of the PDO is amazing and always available with a smile on her face! I love how warm and welcoming everyone is at this school! They all take a sincere interest in the children, and that’s one of the many things I love about Advent and why I would whole-heartedly recommend this PDO to anyone looking for a school that cares about their students and helps to prepare them to succeed at the next level. We have also attended the Easter Egg Hunt and the Christmas festival at Advent Church, and everyone was so thoughtful and generous! I cannot wait to see the gains in my daughter this year in the 4 yr old class, and we will be starting our 1 year old daughter at Advent next year! I am one very appreciative Momma to all the teachers at Advent making a positive influence in my daughter’s life!

We love this facility! Our children have gone there for over 3 years now. The staff are sweet and loving and they quickly become like family. It is a very diverse school as well. There are many cultures and people groups represented there. No judgements there, just love.

My girls have only attended Advent’s PDO since August, but we’ve felt led to have my oldest here for the past year. It was a wonderful decision for our family to have our girls join the classes- they’ve learned so much, are taken care of and safe, and their classes are so diverse that we know they’re getting a wonderful beginning to their education. We love coming to school as it seems like a second home!

My family and I was thinking about joining this church and offered to volunteer as they needed overnight help and we were told since we weren't members of their congration we couldn't help with the homeless family ministry they were hosting. In my opinion you don't or shouldn't have to be a member of the church to help with the homeless families in your community. But they were quick to take my husband's donation for their church. Never again will we be back.

I have had children at Advent Preschool for 9 years. My children feel so loved and have learned so much. They learn from their curriculum in both the classroom and in the Chapel & Spanish settings. This school and church are such a huge blessing to our family. Both children and adults can find many different ways to plug in at Advent. Advent makes it easy....there is truly something for everyone.
