Not to be too critical of a church but whoever does the bell ringing is just not very consistent or skilled. The church I grew up near used to play a cheerful melody then strike the bell once for every hour of the day it was (ie 6 pm got 6 strikes) Here they just seem to wail on the bell a random, unpredictable pattern that doesn't really tell the time. Just something I've noticed. Sorry if this offends
