I attended church service here this morning-this is an awesome church! The minister was amazing. There was a 20 minute wait to shake his hand after the service, and when it was finally my turn, I found out why. He seems to be genuinely interested in, and showed concern for, every single person he visited with. His sermon was one of the best I have ever heard. I could elaborate, but in no way could I give his message and presentation the justice it deserves on a Google review website. The parishioners have got to be the friendliest, most welcoming group of people I have ever met. Honestly, so many reached out, visited with me, and made me feel comfortable, I was just really pleasantly surprised. I knew no one when I first walked through those church doors. By the time I left, I was thinking about all of the members who had reached out to me, and I was actually kind of worried about the woman I sat next to, then visited with after church, hoping she will be okay. Plus, they had coffee and goodies to eat after church service-every Sunday, the way it looks. I did not stay for any of that, as I had to get going. However, it looked like a great time for fellowship. If you are in the Rapid City area, and are looking for a Lutheran/Protestant church home, I would knock on this church's door-Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rapid City, South Dakota.
