Immanuel Lutheran Church, located 8 miles west of Dimock on 270th Street, was founded in 1882 by German Silesian Lutherans. The congregation is part of the South Dakota District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). The church has a long-standing tradition of faithfulness to the teachings of Martin Luther and the Lutheran liturgy.
