Allah Almighty says in Surah Maryam: “Have you seen the one who disbelieved in Our verses and said, ‘I will surely be given wealth and children’? (77) Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken a covenant with the Most Merciful? (78) No! We will record what he says and extend for him the punishment extensively. (79) And We will inherit from him what he says, and he will come to Us alone. (80) And they have taken besides Allah [other] deities that they might be for them [a source of] power. (81) No!” They will deny their worship and become their adversaries. (82) Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to evil? (83) So do not hasten against them; We are only counting out for them a [limited] number. (84) The Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as honored guests, (85) and We will drive the criminals to Hell in herds. (86) They will not possess [the power of] intercession except for those whom We have appointed for them. (87) They have taken a covenant with the Most Merciful. (88) They have said, “The Most Merciful has taken a son.” (89) You have certainly come with a grave matter. (90) The heavens almost break apart therefrom, and the earth splits open, and the mountains collapse in ruin. (91) That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. (92) It is not appropriate for the Most Merciful to take a son. (93) There is none in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful. (93) He has counted them and numbered them precisely. (94) And all of them will come to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. (95)
