I started attending Woodland Hills Community Church two and a half years ago. This is the first church where I've actually felt like I am part of a family. Everyone there welcomes you and accepts you for who you are. There is a Sunday school session specifically for young adults which is helpful, there are people there who are willing to get lunch with you and just talk, and there is a really good mix of worship. I would definitely recommend Woodland Hills if you're looking for a church home.

I first visited when a friend invited me when I was a college Freshman in the area. I decided to make it my church home primarily because I enjoyed the good Bible teaching from a rotating preaching team, young adults community group, and meaningful worship time that included a blend of contemporary and hymn-based songs as well as the Lord's Supper every week as a part of the worship time. Nearly 8 years later now, I call this group of people family, and have really come to appreciate that discipleship and mentoring is a reality here. I've found they really mean their mission statement: "making and becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus."
