Very nice church, very friendly people. I first visited several months ago. I've really enjoyed the traditional hymns, and we also sing some recent songs as well. I've really enjoyed how the Bible is preached. Preaching the Word is definitely the central focus. After the sermon, I find myself discovering new ways God's goodness has been demonstrated in the sermon passage. The hymns point to Jesus and are focused on Him. The Mount Church is a group of believers all following Christ together and is a very refreshing place to worship with other believers.

Beautiful church. Very nice people. Loved the hymns. The sermon was filled with several separate ideas: charity, the sins of many of the mighty people in scripture, martyrdom, and "good people". This was a rambling sermon with great emphasis in places that had no central point. It barely held on to the initial scripture reading at the beginning of the sermon and the other scripture reading at the start of the service had no meaning attached to the sermon. A movie reference and today's news. Solid Bible preaching is what people need. Today's sermon did not meet that goal. Hopefully, it was a one off. My wife and I were so looking forward to finding a new church in the toe where we just moved three weeks ago. Very disappointed.

This church is SO welcoming and faithful! Pastor Brian and George prepare thoroughly for every sermon and preach the whole Bible in its entirety. I've grown so much, learned so much, and have been convicted so much since I began coming here last fall. The congregation is like a family.

I came to this church the second week of my freshman year at Clemson University and I never left. The community of beleivers at this church are so intentional in loving each other, and portraying the love of Christ. The worship is so genuine, and the sermons are rooted in the truth of the bible. Praise God for the work that he is doing in the Mount Church!

This is Christ’s Church! Jesus reigns so palpably here- he knits us together in fellowship, in the “hymns and spiritual songs,” and with meaty preaching- the whole service is worship! I’ve never been in a church where my pastor knows me well- let alone my sins, my joys, my struggles, etc. Our pastor is committed to bearing the mantle of shepherd. He smells like the flock, walks with the flock, and welcomes us (especially college students) into his home continually. The preaching consists of the full counsel of God- it is “solid food,” that has born righteousness and godliness as its fruit over weeks, months, and years. It’s so clear that Jesus is sanctifying us and washing us with the water of his word. If you’re interested in discipleship (which everyone should be,) residency programs, evening teachings, and college services on Wednesday nights are designed to provide it. Altogether, I thank God for this church and her members. Pray for us, that we would be presented holy and blameless to Jesus our King. Come and see the work of the Lord here!

The mount church’s vision is to exist to display the glory of God's grace in Jesus Christ by proclaiming Him to all peoples for their everlasting joy in God. They surely do just this! You will find a church filled with people proclaiming Him and displaying the glory of Gods grace. They believe the Bible is the true word of God and the church leadership is faithful to God and the preaching of His word. I couldn’t have asked God to provide a better church for me to grow and be discipled by during my time in college.

The Mount Church is, by God's grace, a wonderful balance of theologically sound doctrine and teaching, fellowship where newcomers are welcomed like family, and a focus on sharing Jesus and His love to the community around Clemson. We're blessed to call it our church home.

We love attending The Mount. This church has become our family. They truly care for one another. Pastor Josh preaches straight from God's Word and isn't afraid to speak the truth.

Ever since the first time we visited we have been so encouraged by the body at The Mount Church. Their love for Christ, their love for the Word, their desire to be biblical, and their care for the community around them is just amazing.

Not to big to not be noticed, but not too small either-just bright. Great worship!!!! A really sweet, family friendly body of believers.
