My husband and I have been members of South Strand for over three years now. We love to tell the story of how God led us to this Bible teaching church. My granddaughter played on a soccer team with young girls from this church, because their sweet personalities she wanted to become friends with them. On the sidelines their parents were visiting with my daughter and invited her to church. My daughter visited a few times then asked us and her sister’s family to visit also. We all visited together, checked out the doctrine being preached, and the rest is history! Praise God how He leads in our lives!

I absolutely love these people. I’ve been able to get close with the pastors family and i have loved every minute of it. Not only are they welcoming, but they also have amazing things to say about God’s word that encourages me. Being able to see this family up close and personal has been such a blessing and i love them very much. I have had many friends go to this church and they absolutely loved it. I wish i could give more than 5 stars.

Me and my family are growing very much from Pastor Mike King's teaching at South Strand Community Church. We really enjoy his expository teaching and solid reformed theology. Best place in the grand strand area if you want to grow your knowledge about Christ Jesus. I've been going there for almost 2 years and my faith in Christ keeps on growing. I also love the family atmosphere and the authentic fellowship. Worship band could be a little better but every song is Christ centered so I appreciated. Come Join us every Sunday at 11:00 am. 118 Leisure lane Myrtle Beach SC 29588 Praise God.

We visited Myrtle Beach for our baby-moon. We looked for a church through 9marks website for nearby churches. We looked over the website and we saw they were going through the book of Romans, verse by verse. They are clear on their beliefs and it’s easy to find the location. Enough space for parking. We were welcomed at the door, during service, and after. We were thankful for the word that was preached, it wasn’t based on feelings but clear on the gospel. We now found a church home for a vacation time in Myrtle beach.

I have been attending South Strand since I was 4 years old in the very first building. I have watched our church family expand and go through the best and worst of times together. South Strand is more than a church or a place to enjoy fellowship; South Strand Community Church is a home, a family. Since I was in kids’ church to youth, I have enjoyed every minute of teaching I have received. Not only has the family taught me how to better comprehend God’s word, they have been there for me to encourage me in my day to day life. I have never felt more safe and secure in a church as a young adult and I appreciate every member of the church and what they do for me. From Bible studies on Wednesday and Sunday, to VBS, and YFF (Youth Faith Fellowship) trips to the water park, this church has been one of the best blessings from the Lord. Pastor Mike and Mrs. Lisa, Bishop Dave, Mr. Roger Sweatt, Booner and Tammy Shrader Andrew and Katie Seeley, have all been wonderful examples and have encouraged me on my walk with the Lord. I am grateful for the love they have shown me and every attendee of South Strand. It is a safe and welcoming environment and the members are incredibly sweet. I love every moment of being there and I would not trade them for anything. Please join us on Sunday’s at 11am !!

I have been attending this church for some time now. From the first day till now I have always felt welcome and accepted. I am not a member, yet they took the time to remember my name, shake my hand, share a hug, and are always willing to be kind and friendly.
