This church appears to primarily serve an older congregation—generally individuals in their 70s and above—many of whom have long-standing traditions and a very traditional style of dress and worship. The pastor seems sincere and well-intentioned, though not exceptionally strong in biblical scholarship. I did notice a couple of instances where Scripture was quoted inaccurately. Of course, no one is perfect, and having attended only once, I recognize that more time would be needed to form a complete impression. That said, as someone in my 40s, I felt noticeably out of place at the 11:00 AM service. Beyond the demographic difference, there was also a lack of warmth and hospitality that made it difficult to feel welcomed. I believe this church has potential, and if God wills, it can grow into something truly special. However, it would likely require a significant cultural and spiritual revitalization—a true makeover in how it engages people, builds community, and reaches across generations.

Just stopped by to pick up tickets, there was two ladies sitting at the glass door, one of the ladies came to the door and was extremely rude for no reason. I can't imagine someone who is not saved meeting this person for the first time. I would never come back after being treated this way. Why on earth would you put someone at the door with such an angry attitude. Do better you represent Jesus, all I saw was Satan today 10/13/2025 1pm

Rock Springs is the kind of church that Jesus would be flipping tables in. They have a bowling alley and a full gym, they have an entire school, sure they have a food pantry, but with the money they invested in the bowling alley alone, think of how many homeless people they could’ve housed instead. The large gym building could’ve been made into a shelter to house homeless families in small rooms instead. If they don’t want it that close to the church (which I wouldn’t understand if you want to bring people to God) they could buy a building or land nearby and raise money for a homeless shelter project, a rehabilitation center, anything of actual value to the community.

Rock Springs is a large church, consisting of a multitude of "bonus" families! My church family is a huge part of my life! As I have gotten older, "Bloom Where You Are Planted" has significant meaning to me! We are all here to share Jesus with others! Reaching out to those in need, praying , showing love and kindness to others is our calling! This is what makes a church special! If your heart is where it should be you will see beauty in the Lord's house! People are the heart of our church and those people make our church special!

I get fed at this church by the word of God. David Gallimore is one of the best preachers around. He tells it like it is and does not hold back.
