Amazing Church! God had put his hand on my Wife and I and we came to know Jesus. We were searching for a church and we found praise. This is the Church that has since nurtured us and baptized us. We even want to buy a house in this area just so we can stay here, thats how much we love this community. Highly recommend Praise.

This is the first church I’ve been too since I moved to the Beaufort area. I went to the 10:30 service. My experience was ok. There are things that stood out for me: no welcome greeters at the door. No one welcomed me in the foyer. The pastor that spoke today walked by us as we were going into the sanctuary and didn’t even look to say “hi” or “welcome”. The sanctuary is really cold so bring a jacket of you decide to try this church. The praise and worship lasted an hour long so we were standing for an hour. Thus, the pastor started his message late at 11:37. So I’m thinking is he only going to do a 23 minute message? I’m used to church being dismissed promptly. He didn’t finish until 12:15. So his timing is off, and he is not punctual. The staff seemed disorganized. I’m just used to things being ran more efficiently. The message was ok. Some people wanted to leave and the pastor said don’t leave yet in front of everyone which I think was unnecessary. They should put a timer on the back wall so he knows how long he is taking. Sorry for being so critical. I guess this church is not for me.

I love praise assembly. Everyone feels welcomed. There is a place for everyone to fit in. Lots of small groups that meet at a variety of times in a variety of days of the week so you can find a group to meet with your schedule. There’s activities for children and teens. There’s groups for men there’s groups for women there’s groups for widows there’s a group for everyone. Praise is very involved with helping the community. Praise does a food pantry program on Wednesdays and provides a bag of groceries in a hot meal. On Tuesdays is a Table Hope, where the community comes together and shares a meal and a short message of encouragement and faith. If you haven’t been to Praise Assembly, I would highly recommend it.

Update: I have been attending both Sundays and Wednesdays since I moved here early last fall and am so happy that I decided to check this place out! I have met some really great people, Pastor Jamie is always right on the money with his message and his delivery (he has a great sense of humor, too), the worship team does an amazing job-- very lively, moving and spirit filled worship with music similar to what you'd hear on 'His Radio' or 'AirOne', and through my continued attendance, I have found my faith and relationship with God deepening and strengthening! I truly encourage you to check this church out if you have felt the emptiness and calling from God or if you're in the market for a new home church... or better if your just curious about what this church brings to the table. You won't be disappointed!

So glad we found our home at this church and they love our kids like their own ❤️ Childcare is amazing, small groups are always going, everyone is so helpful/welcoming, there’s online services in case you miss, and I love the help they do for the community! There’s also a side for Spanish speaking.

The people at Praise Assembly made my husband and I feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. The worship band has very talented musicians and vocalists that lead into a spirit alive message.

I absolutely love everything about this church. I may not be the best at attending church every Sunday but they offer so many things during the week for my kids and me to be apart of.
