Dynamic and sound teaching with a sense of humor from Pastor Tom. The worship music is energetic and vibrant. My family and friends who have visited Journey have felt welcome here. So glad my husband and I have found a church that loves God and isn’t ashamed of the Holy Spirit and boldly declares the name of Jesus. Expect friendly faces, a hug and to experience the presence of God!

I was rude for starters, didnt show grace. But these people showed me grace. Definitely went through a rough start, but they still helped me substantially.

I would never go to a church who would host Lindsey Graham - no thanks.

My wife and I have attended Journey Church regularly since August of 2013, when we moved to Myrtle Beach. Always enjoy the Spirit Filled atmosphere and spirit led messages! Join us, you will not be disappointed!

The sermons are amazing and relevant. However, I found the speaking in tongues to be very contrived and not spirit lead. The same person always began to shriek after the second song. Then the same person always interpreted. It just seemed so staged and not genuine. Speaking in tongues is not a timed thing that occurs every service. I found this very concerning for authenticity. Also, 45 minutes of music is just to long, I find this to be a problem with ever church in the area. I am there for a message not a concert. The church is very community service oriented and that is awesome!

I have been going to journey for about a year now and from the beginning I have loved this church! They have a great children's ministry and everyone is so welcoming. Pastor Tom's sermons are genuine and full of God's grace and love.

This is by far the most amazing church that I have been to in my life! God has healed me in so many areas since I have been there, and it is awesome that the minister doesn't give you a canned message, but one that applies to you today! If you are looking to be all that God wants you to be, you won't find a better church in the Myrtle Beach area than Journey! I have tried most of them! No matter what your past or present looks like, you are welcome here. At Journey, God meets you where you are, and helps you become all that you are meant to be.

We love this church. So friendly! We've been coming for two years and the message is always fresh, biblical and applicable to our lives today. They have a wide choice of ministries to choose from if you wish to participate.

I am so BLESSED to have such a wonderful church where the pastors preach the word of God! It is the most loving church I have ever been to. The people REALLY care about you. I have been going there for over a year and I truly love my church family. If you don't have a church of your please come visit you will NOT leave the same.

The message is right on and teaches the completed work of Jesus. It is by Grace we have been saved, not works. It is a gift of God so no one can boast. It is the love of God that leads people to repentance. And Grace plus works is no longer Grace. What's disappointing is that it seems they don't like to mention the name of Jesus, God, the Father, in their praise and worship songs. Their worship songs refer to "You" or "He". Jesus is the Name above all names. Why do they shy away from His name in praise and worship? If someone doesn't know Jesus, I would be wondering "Who are they singing to?"

This is an amazing church. No matter where you are going, make sure you cup is filled when you leave your church. If not, keep looking. At this church, we are family. And my cup is overflowing.

You would assume their bus drivers would know how to use a turn signal. I can always hear their music from my house, very loud. Also dont like how they cut down dozens of trees once they moved here. No reason for all of it

Best church I've ever been to hands down. Blessed to have found it in 2012. Moved away from the area in 2013 and just recently moved back and wanna know what the most exciting part of moving back to Myrtle Beach was for me? THIS CHURCH.

Went to a memorial service for a deceased member. Service was heartfelt and genuine, both celebrants were wonderful, so sympathetic to the survivors. Brought a tear to my eye. God bless them.
