  Fresh Word Church is a fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ. If you are looking for a church with flawless people who never make a mistake, you are not ready for the kingdom of God. Church is not a place that you go shopping for anyway...I digress. Bishop Aiken and his lovely wife are sincere about their desire to serve the flock that they have been assigned to in this season. The man of God honors the prophetic and teaches from the scriptures. I love the positive declaration that the ministry recites each Sunday. I have seen different types of people in the church. People of all ethnicities are welcome as well. Other great leaders include Pastors husband and wife team, The Scotts. The worship leader will certainly usher in the presence or an atmospere where you can connect with the Lord. I would not pay attention to one negative review about this church. Many come to Bishop Aiken for help and when they do not get what they want, it is common for people to leave with resentment and bitterness. Such is the cross that any pastor will carry. If you are looking for a church, it is best to pray and ask God. He will lead you. But I wanted to send my shout out to Fresh Word church. They are also a praying church that comes together every week to pray. Many churches do not pray as they should. This is a good thing! I hope you find your spot in the kingdom!

  On New Year's Eve me and my girlfriend decided to go to Fresh Word Ministries because at the time we thought it would be a ministry of getting the word of refreshment and sincere assistance. I spoked to the pastor prior to meeting him at the mall where his small ministries resides. So upon meeting the pastor personally he asked did me and my girlfriend did we eat? We did eat whooper sandwiches prior to heading to the mall. Anyway the pastor treated us to lunch. Throughout the entire time I detected alot of things that the pastor did. Pastor acted as if he was so happy to see us, but he asked me what I thought about the incident in Charleston, but before I could even answer he was already talking to the female security and then moments after having a conversation and laughing he finally decided to introduce us. Then afterwards he bring us to his office and asked questions and went on about the scriptures in the Bible. It have had to been over two hours that passed because we were in his office long enough. The phone rung. Then he began telling me and my girlfriend about a homeless couple with a very bad odor who came to his ministries for assistance and laughed as he tolded me and my girlfriend how bad they smelled. In hindsight if he talked about a poor homeless couple who else he'll talk about. But me and my girlfriend were freshly washed with clean clothes so there's nothing he could have said even if he wanted to. I called pastor another time and he only handed me twenty dollars. At the time me and my woman needed extended stay in a hotel suite and money for food and to purchase gas. The last and final time I reached out to the pastor he went on about how he have a bad feeling about me and my woman only because he knew that he talked down about a homeless couple just last year. I strongly urge anybody interested in the fresh word to reconsider and go elsewhere. Pastor at fresh word is a coon, a hypocrite and talk and joke about homeless folks in the city

  Fresh Word Church is such an amazing church filled with gifted souls! This church has changed my life in so many ways. I thank God for our pastor and every church leader who goes above and beyond for their members and anyone else!

  I'm GRATEFUL GOD lead me here. The WORD OF GOD is moving. Great teachers that give of their time and resources freely. If your list and looking for a home and family in CHRIST this is the place. All are loved and welcomed here.
