First time I attended the Christmas program and I will definitely return in the years to come. It was entertaining and a great production between the dancing and singing. The church itself is beautiful! Parking in the parking garage across the street wasn't too bad getting in and out of.

First Baptist is an absolutely wonderful place to worship our Lord Jesus! If you’re looking for something new, something exciting, and somewhere to belong come and see First Baptist and feel the spirit of the lord! From the weekly message we receive, to the absolutely beautiful choir, and the sense of community you feel when interacting with the people who make up First Baptist, you will feel like your home! Pastor Wes and Pastor Steve do an absolutely GREAT job teaching us about Jesus and how we can walk closer to the lord! It’s time to make disciples and spread the GOOD news of our Lord and Savior! If you’re feeling a little lost these days, come and check out First Baptist! Everyone will welcome you with open arms! Come and feel the love!

This was my first time attending the First Baptist Church special Christmas pageant since moving to SC in 2017. The show started wondefully with Wilderness World and ended beautifully with the life of Jesus. The acting, singing and the symphony were superb. If you aren't familiar with this spectacular show I suggest checking out their website for tickets. Plus it's FREE!

We attended the Carolina Celebration of Liberty today. The performance was very professional and we have enjoyed it for the past 3 years; however, we would like to be able to understand the words to the songs. The words were on the screen for the last 2 songs, which was very helpful. There were some solos that were clear and the speakers, other than Governor McMaster. I'm wondering if the sound system may be adjusted to provide clarity of the words. We thank First Baptist Church for their tremendous outpouring of sharing their talents with us.

I want to start off with the positive. I think that Pastor Wes does a wonderful job with preaching the word. That is really important. I just don’t think this is one of the most welcoming churches I’ve ever been to, and if you are a person of color I’m not sure if this is the church for you. I deeply hope that you will be able to find community in this church, but it may be more challenging for you. I was least impressed with the people I met at the young professionals class. Seemed a little superficial. Cordial enough, but with no real intentions to get to know you as a lot of them are very tight knit, which is understandable. The group seems very clique. I’ve been to so many churches at this point, it’s easy to tell the atmosphere within a short time period. I think I may like the international ministry they have better since that group is a lot more diverse. I’ve never had an issue with being in the minority as I moved here from out of state, and I was the only minority in our young professionals class there. The area I lived in wasn’t diverse at all but everyone was so welcoming and friendly. It seems that this church and others in the area are vastly different in that sense compared to what I’m used to in the Midwest. Maybe I’m just not use to the culture on this side of the world. I do appreciate how the Pastor preaches the word of God and I hope in a world where people want the gospel to be watered down for fear of being cancelled that he remains steadfast.

Pastor Wes Church is a wonderful pastor. I don't go to his church but I watch him on Sundays if I don't go to my church. The choir has great voices and wonderful music. I am doing the Consumed Bible Story reading with the church. I like the podcast also. I have wanted so many times to write a card to Pastor Church to tell him how much I enjoy his teaching. God Bless him and the Awesome church.

I have been attending this church since 2017 and it is the warmest, friendliest church I have ever been to. Everyone I pass in the halls greets me and says hello. The people in my Sunday school class have been so kind and helpful to me when my husband was going through an illness. I also love that they still sing hymns. Our pastor is the kindest, warmest man we could have. I love his preaching and his love for the Lord and the people in the church. He is a true man of God who puts the Lord first and preaches the Bible as the inerrant word of God. Please join us sometime.

I have never actually attended a church service her but they offer ASL( American Sign Language) classes very cheap. They are always very welcoming and everyone is always so nice. The classes were very rewarding and I thank them so much for sharing their knowledge of ASL with me. I really wish more churches and organizations were more welcoming to the deaf community. I am not deaf myself and before taking this class at this church I have honestly spoken a deaf person or knew how. If you are willing to learn please sign up. They are very affordable and if you have a job that deals with the pubic this is a must to know.
