Moved to Eastern NC a year and a half ago but not been able to find a church. Stumbled across this place when I saw a post on Facebook marketplace about a golf tournament. I decided to check it out. Now I come from a small country church that has about 30 members. Never been to a mega church before and over 700 people there. Was immediately greeted at the front door by a couple women greeting everyone. Later to find out one of the ladies is the First Lady of the church. Right away this place felt like home. After service as I'm leaving I run into the pastor. It was a great service and this Sunday they were having a meal. They invited me to stay. I didn't know anyone or even the area so I stayed. I sat at a large table by myself, and the pastor and his wife came and sit down with me. I told them I was looking for a church and before I could say anything else, they said "WELCOME HOME", and it does. Several men I have spoken to since also say "WELCOME HOME". Everyone is so friendly. They see me by myself and always speak. Seems every Sunday the parking lot and sanctuary are always packed but never feel alone or overwhelmed, just welcomed.
