I love this church for many reasons for there love, the hope they give me, and the smiles I see on people's faces everyday Sunday is one of the most beautiful l thing I have ever seen.

I’ve been going to Courageous since April, a couple months after they started. The first time I went, I instantly felt the connection. The greeters made me feel so welcome. I met Dave and Saz (the pastors) personally and even had a coffee with Dave that month. They were a smaller church so felt very intimate like a family, I moved to Georgia this summer for work, and specifically came back to Charleston for Courageous and their Academy+ program. I recommend it to everyone I come across now. I have made so many friends it’s hard to keep up with everyone.

I absolutely LOVE this church and everyone in it. I finally found the place I was looking for in a long while. This is where I can worship, learn, connect, share, cry, laugh and find an immense amount of support. If you’re looking for a place where you can deepen your relationship with God while surrounded by loving, caring people, look no further.

This place feels like home! I’ve been in church my whole life, but the way that I’ve grown in my relationship with God while apart of Freedom Church has been the biggest blessing! Incredible preaching, amazing worship, and truly some of the best people I have ever met.

This church is new to Charleston but you would think they’ve been a part of the holy city forever. The principles, the study, the pastoral servant leadership. It is bar none. If you’re looking for a church home, this church should be one that you consider. The fellowship is incredible. The coffee is great too! Hahaha if you want to chase a relationship with Christ, come down to Courageous Church.

If you're looking for a church that feels like a family, Courageous is for you. Everyone is kind and genuinely cares about each other. I was looking for more than somewhere to listen to a sermon once a week. Courageous has given me a community to grow and thrive in and it will do the same for you!

If you’re looking for real, authentic people within a church community, then this place is your home. These people already feel like family only a few weeks in and are constantly point you to Jesus. I can’t imagine going anywhere else!
