I had the opportunity to visit the Columbia South Carolina Temple for the first time while traveling from my home in Idaho and Utah, and it was an incredibly meaningful experience. Though this is one of the smaller temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it carries a profound and peaceful spirit that makes it feel just as significant and sacred as any larger temple. We were blessed to participate in baptisms for the dead as a family, and I’ll always treasure sharing that moment with my little niece. The temple workers were incredibly kind, loving, and welcoming—helping us feel at home and guiding the experience with such warmth and grace. The temple itself is absolutely gorgeous and nestled in a beautifully maintained and serene setting. It’s a wonderful reflection of the peace and reverence that temples represent. Of course, access is reserved for members of the Church, but for those who are able to attend, I wholeheartedly encourage you to come and experience the spiritual peace this sacred space offers. The Columbia Temple may be small in size, but it is overflowing with beauty, reverence, and the spirit of the Lord.

The Columbia Temple is lovely. The grounds are fairly small, but there are some picnic tables next to a grassy area in the back. Lots of parking. If you need to use the restroom you can go just inside the doors to access one, even if you don’t have a temple recommend.

Henry C Myers from Davidson North Carolina has been sealf there! Henry enjoy the writing of Cardinal John Henry Newman. Henry likes the Church of England and he is a great admirerred of King Henry viii and his loving wife Anne, I am so happy that my husband is sealed there! He was a first responder volunteer for Mecklenburg County and the town of Davidson. Henry was the firefighter of the year 4 times for the county! I love the Columbia South Carolina Temple! It is my favorite place in the Columbia area. I always feel such peace as I walk on the grounds. And even more when I have the opportunity to go inside. It is where I go when I need time to think and refocus on what is important in my life. I would recommend it to anyone, especially on their hard days. Just go and visit it. It will be worth your time.
