No waiting, no questions asked (just name and date of birth). They were fast, very efficient and friendly. So grateful to have fresh fruit and salads. The generous food donation is a true blessing for myself and family. Thank you so much!!!

Was given Direction to a place that was closed from a Pastor of a Church being apart of the Same Church Name I Attend and even Pastor in another state seeking help for my Daughter and her family after being in the hospital for two weeks recovering from a Stroke at 32 years old. After Traveling 1500 miles to make sure she was ok I went to a Church that was of the Same Organization as our Church. Was told by the pastor there he was calling over there and they'd be expecting me. I went straight there and NOBODY was there not even the person he told me to ask for. My thing is if you can't help or don't want to get involved or help don't run people all over the place. I wasn't begging there nor will I anywhere else. The Lord met the need Regardless and still is.

The people there are very nice and caring. However, I received some bad fruit and vegetables, also turkey necks that I couldn't eat. Everything else I received was very good, but it didn't last me very long. I wish that people could make more than one pickup a month. That would be very helpful.

My brother and I took a few donations. This is a great organization to help those in need with food. The staff is so friendly and great people!

Some of the most wonderful people I've ever met. As myself, I feel horrible when I have to use their services but to my astonishment they treated me just like a normal person and because of their treatment of me,once I'm back on my feet,I will surely pay it forward. GOD WORKS

Very nice folks who work here. Can come every two weeks for free food, much of it from Food Lion. I share with my neighbors if I get a lot of fresh produce.

The staff is helpful and gracious. I appreciate the consideration for additional support due to my family's need in a crisis situation. The new graduate (CCU- congratulations again) who helped me was extra helpful and understanding. I would recommend this caring resource to anyone in need of a helping hand. Bless you C A P. Robin

Ellen did not make me feel comfortable. I spoke with two ladies last week who were extremely nice. Ellen words and vibe was not pleasant. She stated I was only getting help because I had children. She was grilling me about everything. I had already explained my situation last week and Ellen stated she was out for two weeks and this was her first day back. She didn’t know anything about me coming. She made me feel bad for even receiving electric funds. Will not use this company again. Nothing Christian or church like about Ellen.

Friendly and helpful employees. Don't know their procedures. I came alone and now one asked me how many is in my family so I could only get food for one person. I will find out next time.

Very by the book. You better have everything you need or you may still be hungry... sign up for government phone and walk out with it. Very nice lady there. Not a long wait, shop through pantry.

Rude disrespectful staff. I get turned down because I was honest and told them I received food stamps at the beginning of the month and was out of stamps and food because I just took in my neice and brother because they were homeless and hadn't been approved on my stamps yet. I hadn't been there in a year or two before this yet they have the same people in there every month coming in with their Jordans on and carrying they Marc Jacob bags getting help.

I am not typically one that goes looking for handouts. It took A LOT for me to swallow my pride and seek help today, only to be shown no empathy or consideration, or even any other viable solutions to help me by CAPS. I understand that there are no funds available, but the utter lack of regard for my feelings just floored me. These people are in social services, and supposed to be church affiliated. The people who walk through your doors, are just that, people, not a statistic, not just more cattle to move through the doors. I was turned away without a second thought, and apparently as I was so rudely informed by your person up front, salvation army cannot help my children for Christmas because you have to sign up in October. My circumstances in October were considerably different. Had I known then, that I would be on the verge of being homeless and without electricity, and that my children will have nothing for christmas, yes, I would have signed up. But am I just out of luck because my circumstances have changed? I guess so. Had your person up front taken more than 5 minutes of her time to actually assess my individual situation, then maybe she would know that I have worked my whole life. That I lost my job in October, and just need a little help so that I don't completely fall apart. God forbid any of you people ever find yourselves in this position. God forbid any of you have to humiliate yourselves by swallowing your pride and begging for help just to try to keep a roof over your childrens head. Just keep in mind, your life can change in the blink of an eye, so don't take today for granted, as you, yourself may find no solution in sight when you just need a little help. I'm sure this review will just be disregarded by your staff as I was, but God bless you people anyways.

They give you enough food to last 1 person, for 2 weeks.Just make sure that you carry your Social Security Card and an Identification Card with you, or it will take awhile to get processed. Sometimes they give out Free Cell 📱 Phones . …
