Thank you to the volunteers for their hard work and dedication to helping the community. I drove about 30 minutes based on the posted event hours of 7:00 AM–10:30 AM and arrived around 9:45 AM. When I arrived, I was told that only a few items remained and that the distribution had essentially ended. What was confusing as a visitor was that I could still see water and other supplies being loaded into vehicles while people were being told that food was no longer available. I understand those items may have been reserved for other distributions or purposes, but from a visitor's perspective it was difficult to understand what was still available and what was not. I truly appreciate the work being done here and I am grateful for the help that was provided. My only suggestion would be to make it clearer that supplies may run out long before the posted end time, or provide updates when distributions are effectively finished. This would help people avoid making long trips only to find that the event has already ended. Thank you again to everyone who volunteers their time to serve the community.

A very special church. Warm and friendly. The congregation know each other and greet new comers with warmth and knowledge of the area. I’ve been a member of this beautiful community for 20 years. No one gets left behind. It’s a wonderful community!

Unfortunately, they do not have a 10:30am service as posted in one of their pictures. So we showed up at the end of their service. It would be nice if they put their times on here as well as in the about section so people know what time to come. Other than that the building is beautiful and the people are friendly.

My husband and I have been looking for a new church to attend. Walking into the Church of Resurrection we were warmly greeted by everybody, the service was wonderful, the music is contemporary. Pastor gave a great message about Gods blessings and how great our God is. My husband and I have participated there food drive which is the third Saturday of each month, they are passing out food to our community. They also do the nativity drive-through at Christmas time which is absolutely wonderful. 10 am service.

We have been coming to the Church of the Resurrection every winter for about five years. From the first moment we felt welcomed and a feeling that this was where we should be. There are programs for everyone. The pastoral staff has helped us grow spiritually and have a genuine interest and concern for each parishioner. We look forward to eventually relocating here and becoming fully involved on a full time basis. We consider ourselves blessed and are very thankful.

I love how every volunteer on the food distribution is soo nice and cheerful. BUT I have to say this Saturday was a mess when they gave out the gifts for the kids. It was NOT organized at all. Adults grabbing gifts “for their kids” and the kids were not even there. I saw how the adults kept going back to grab more gifts. Especially Hispanics. The adults were very selfish and greedy. At that moment I was ashamed of being Hispanic. Y’all need to organized it better for next year. I have a few ideas if interested to know them contact me. God bless

Unlike other churches I visited within the last month, 2 different members of the vestry, both priests and several members came up and welcomed me and my family on our very first visit. No pressure at all. It is a warm and inviting church. Good nursery, great security, good music program. I highly recommend this church.
