Went last Thursday and what an amazing experience. We ended up with Craig as an our tour guide. So many beautiful history with this church and my kiddos enjoyed it. It’s a must for homeschooling families and the beauty of it it’s that there’s no admission necessary. Monday through Thursday from 11am-2pm I believe.

Wonderful tour of the church facility. Bought holy honey and a cookbook. Church saved from Union forces as the town was razed. Beautiful trees and right by the May River. Still a thriving congregation!

Such a gorgeous church! Got there right before the tours closed at 2pm. The ladies provided some amazing history and details. Wish I had more time to buy the “Holy Honey” . Go see for yourself if you’re curious! Has that old antique smell with the beautiful wood.

The church was closed that the time we visited but the property was clean and green. The church is in great condition and there is a hidden bee hive in which it is reported that the church produces honey. The view of the water is nice and peaceful.
