@Kayla, I don’t attend this church regularly but I do attend their community events. And what you posted is completely false. Not only do they let everyone take food to go, but they will give you more than enough. Every single time I have …

My family and I recently had the misfortune to attend the church because they host the Mexican consulate, however the church staff is far from qualified to handle such events. The church staff was very rude to multiple people while we were there. We expect such treatment from the consulate NOT from people who claim to be Christian. It is unbelievable the amount of ignorance and hostility we encountered. You need to do better.

@Kayla Crow as someone who served for several years in both the Loaves and Fishes and the clothing closet, I can tell you that NO ONE left under or without whatever could be given. Always the meals were prepared by people who took time and money out of their own pockets to be a helper to those who showed up. I have personally gone out to people eating, gathered their plates and offered second helpings. Not only were people served in person, but on the mornings you came in, someone had already taken meals out to seniors with no means to get out. The monthly tithe of this church barely covered what food costs were. It’s a shame that you never offered to help in the kitchen, or serving, cooking or cleaning up after others when they’ve left. Or perhaps some clothes were needed, and you offered to help find something for someone to wear? If you walked in, sat down, ate and no one even asked you to do anything, pay anything, give up anything, then I can’t imagine why you would take the time to “review.” You truly have no idea how many times people came through lines and we fed them when we thought we would run out. It makes me so sad that this is what the world is coming to. Of all the things to criticize, free lunch in God’s house, shouldn’t be one of them.
