I have felt very welcome here and love the variety of groups for people with different passions, as well as the supportive activities for children, youth, and families. An inclusive congregation with a lovely large campus where anyone progressive can flower.

I have been attending the UUCY since July 2018, and have found it to have a great community and congregation that welcomes people from all walks of life. The people are friendly, the Sunday services are varied but always engaging, and the programs run by and through the organization are community and social justice driven. I have and will continue to recommend it to the people that I meet, because this is an openly welcoming and affirming place for individuals and families that do not fit societal norms as far as personal identity or personal spirituality.

This congregation has the most kind and accepting people i’ve ever interacted with in a spiritual setting. From the minute I engaged with the youth program I felt included and as if I had been for years. My favorite memory is going ice skating with the youth group and everyone enjoyed it :)

This community of conscientious, curious and caring individuals has been my spiritual home since 1994. UUCY Sunday Services are the shot in the arm that grounds me for the rest of the week. The homily, readings and music are inspiring and help me to be more optimistic during these challenging turbulent times.

The music program at this church is diverse and includes members of all ages. The adult faith groups offer spiritual growth and friendship. The children's faith program is creative and lively. And the minister's sermons are thought-provoking and nourishing. UUCY welcomes all.

I began attending UUCY in August 2017, following a search for a welcoming congregation in my community. After just one service, I knew that I had found a place where I belonged, as the congregation members drew me in. I love the thought provoking and deeply moving services, the work for social justice and community focused work as well as (pre-pandemic) social times to really grow in community and relationships. UUCY continually strives to work for social justice fueled by a commitment to love, and recognizes that diversity, inclusivity and equity strengthen society.

We drove to York to attend a memorial service here. Nice church, beautiful grounds, a great space for this sort of event.
