We did not walk all the way to the cross since my mom was tired and it is up a hill (paved) but we did walk high enough to see the scenic overlook and cross in distance on top of hill. Free parking in small lot. Just be respectful of area.

Good it is up a steep hill be prepared to walk. If you cant walk you can call the day ahead for arrangements. Beautiful view. The leaves changed late this year we were hoping to see the foliage from here but there was not much. I bet it is amazing to see during the peak foliage season.

Reason for fourstars is because it is an uphill walk all the way to the top Dunbar Knob. Worth the climb though. Awesome view when you get there.

It is a steep walk up the hill to see the Cross, but a beautiful view on top. There is benches to sit on on the way up if you need them walking up the hill. A lot more benches at the top. There is no fee and it's a nice small paved road walking up. No vehicles are allowed to drive up. You must walk. Nice History of how the Cross hot built to read at the top.

Lovely view, bit of a steep walk for a smoker such as myself but totally worth it. Be prepared for wind though.

The cross is Great! You have to walk a long ways up hill to see it and it is on private property. There was a gate across the road so we didn't go all the way up the hill. But it is very impressive and there is a beautiful view overlooking a city, I'm just not sure which city. There is parking available and no cost. It is also close to a battlefield which we didn't have time to check out, but it's something to make note of when visiting the area.

What a beautiful monument! So serene, you can't help but feel at peace. I was fortunate enough to have the mountain to myself (along with my dog) and can't begin to explain the "freedom" you feel, standing next to that cross. Worries and anxiety disappear for a little while, and you really have a sense of calm. I arrived for sunrise (highly suggest) and stayed for about an hour. The view is spectacular!

Very cool and moving to see. It is a hike to get to it but paved path slopes nice and is easy to walk on.

If ur looking for complete peace and quiet this is the place to come. Very well maintained, the cross location is so spiritually rewarding. If you need to unwind, relax and reflect, come here. You'll love it! The trails are lovely and wide and pretty short but great place for a peaceful walk. The garden inside the wooded trail is just magical. Love this place and definetly recommend.
