My grandfather, George Ellien , was one of the founders of this church. My mom always spoke of it and her home town. A few years ago my daughter and I travelled to Brownsville to visit this church and drive around the town that mom loved. The church is lovely, a stained glass window recognizes my grandfather and one in the sanctuary recognizes his brother Baddy . All the homes and schools mom mentioned are gone and replaced. I’ll go back again.
