Another entrance from other side of building than 3rd St shown in photo. Parking lot across 3rd St. Large open lobby, clean restrooms, comfortable auditorium seats. A few cool Masonic decorations. (We went to hear the Harrisburg Symohony perform on stage while they were in temporary residence there, while repairs were being done at their home site.)

We were there for the Nutcracker Ballet. It was quite lovely. For those with needs for the accessibility door, it was in the back of the building where the parking lot is. The people we met were very kind.

I'm here for that fundraising Iftar dinner. This place is gorgeous! And parking wasn't a problem.

Went there for the 55th annual rock and gem show. They moved the show there as it had recently (precovid) been at the zembo mosque. The cathedral is a much cleaner and modern facility. They do spread out the vendors over 2 floors. Restrooms are clean and conveniently located. There is an atm machine available there also. Overall it's a very nice venue for this type of event. Parking is also more convenient than the prior venue. Unique architecture also.

This place canceled Elvis impersanators twice. 1 time for covid I understand that 1. But now again saying not enough tickets sold. This has been over a 6 month time frame. And now that they were due to perform they just canceled again. Bad promotions on their part as with the new Elvis movie out I can say someone dropped the ball. We will never use them again!

Very nice good size auditorium and dining hall to satisfy an event. Accommodates a large number of people. Very good maintenance and cleanliness.

The Harrisburg Symphony gave a wonderfully talented and entertaining performance last night at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. The guest singers exquisitely performed 80s hits by Whitney Houston, Robert Palmer, Madonna, Billy Joel, Annie Lennox, Phil Collins and more.

Apparently, one can rent space at the venue (through a multiyear contract) but cannot expect full usage of the space for which one has paid in advance. Decisionmakers will double up with another renter, without notification, and then require accommodation of the second renter's requirements, without consideration. This happened to an organizer of an event we attended, who was further treated disrespectfully. If this is any indication of the quality of the organization running the place, it's not favorable.

It was an experience like no other. I was presented a 50 year membership plate that will for ever be displayed in a place of honor in our home. The Harrisburg Consistory is the greatest Bodie of Masonic Brethren in the USA.
